MOVED!

He adopts the look of 2/3 OG Dante, but with some slight alterations (that someday I’ll make art of, lol.), such as more red tones & the white hair. This takes place nearly half a century after the events of DmC. Kat is gone, though Vergil & his son, Nero, are still around since they’re all non-human.

Dante at this point in time is his strongest self & has found his new devil trigger abilities. They alter his outter appearance drastically. Giving him more of a demonic look & such. (Similar time OG Dante, since on my blog OG characters are the ancestors of the reboot ones). His personality is different now, not as “FUCK YOU, FUCK THIS, FUCK THAT”... he’s drained & void of most emotions at this point. 50 years of losing those your love & care for, realizing how non human in a human world you are, etc can take a toll on someone. His son & himself are not all that close especially after Kat’s passing. He & Vergil continue not seeing eye to eye, for whatever reason. Probably to show who’s stronger & better at this one. A whole world of pettiness.

Dante can’t stay in one spot for too long, as his brother makes sure he’s always either fighting or on the run in general. Dante never really tried forming relationships with anyone nor really cared to.

I think the devil sword Sparda is spilt into 2, the rebellion and Yamato. Hence why he’s only realy seen in his portraits holding the rebellion. I feel because the Yamato is obviously key to holding the gates to hell closed— perhaps something happened and that’s why Mundus & co. Find the sparda family in the end.

This is why Dante and Vergil have those tattoos, they are brands with magic siphoned into them to hold their respected blades. So before they are dragged away from one another and set out into the human world, Sparda makes a last depserate attempt along with wiping their memories, to seal rebellion and Yamato into them...

I speculated in the beginning of the DmC reboot Dante was selling himself just to get by— but now that has changed because in my Dante’s canon, he meets Kenzi at a young age (early teens) and she helps set him on track. Only for a little while though & he ends up failings off the hinges again a few years later. Fast forward to pre DmC (he’s about 20-21 here) the two bump into one another. Of course Dante is still just as much a dick as always, & Kenzi is still willing to be bro’s with him & the like. For the better part of DmC’s event, Kenzi ends up associating & even helping out The Order where capable. This turns into the three having a strong family bond & it only grows after the events with Twin’s betrayal toward one another.
