Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Anna didnāt know what was happening outside of this hospital room. She didnāt know if the Ukrainians had been in touch with her dad or the rest of the club since she had been dumped in front of the clubhouse and kept business rolling like nothing had happened. She didnāt know if the club was planning on retaliation for what they had done to a daughter of Samcro or if they had decided that now wasnāt the time to strike back for such a gruesome act of violence on Anna. She was sure that the cops had spoken to her father by now and anyone else that had been around when they found her laying on the pavement in a bloody, writhing heap. Right now she couldnāt remember their faces; they were just blurs to her as she tried to hang on for her life instead of fighting sleep that may cause her to slip into a more permanent slumber.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The cops had already tried talking to her but between the pain that had her incapable of answering questions without groaning and the morphine that kept her asleep through most of her hospital stay, she hadnāt given them much to go. Whatever she said, she kept it vague until she managed to talk to her dad and see what she should say or not say to protect the club. What a funny thing to think. Here she was cut up and wrapped in bandages and she was still thinking about what was best for the club.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Yeah⦠āĀ She just managed to breathe out a response to his small joke, trying to keep everything lighthearted for her when she was in such a fragile state right now. Anna had to wonder just how fragile and vulnerable sheād be from this point on and prayed that she could somehow snap back into her old life. Right now, it didnāt seem so likely. Only time would tell how her wounds, both literal and figurative, would heal.Ā ā I donāt know. Nobodyās really told me anything. Probably until I can move again. āĀ Not that she had tried to move at all, but just shifting when they needed to change her bandages or check out the different IVs in her arms hurt to just lean more on one side than flat on her stomach.
