“I can manipulate the time, it’s really frowned upon though, for obvious reasons, I can create portals to places, use my magic for defense and attack, just to name a few. Actually, if it wasn’t so frowned upon I could have simply concentrated my magic on the wound, simply letting it disappear we shall play by the rules, don’t we?” Stephen puts his leather gloves back on since they help him with his pain when his hands simply keep warm. “Please believe me when I say that I have just the best intentions for this world. I am protecting it with all what I have. So as long as you do the same then I don’t have a problem with you.” he nods at James. “You’re welcome. A nice change to a bit of my old work.”

Normally he doesn’t meddle with the worlds he’s visiting, only observing the world around him, keeping an eye on everything. This world however was different. A siren had literally called out to him, pulling him into a different kind of spell. He instantly was intrigued with the merman, yet he did not plan to just take him from his world. Stephen knew it was risky, but he had no other choice but to do it. “Actually, I don’t. You seem to be the exception.” there’s a sigh leaving his lips, a hand rubbing over his forehead. “I had no time to explain. You were in danger and I could not allow anything to happen to you. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know an answer myself.” the merman surely could not spent his life in the bathtub forever, yet he could not take him outside as it’s not usual in his world that a merman would be around. 

He’s at the last few stitches, humming at the Bond’s words. “Well, I can do a lot more than just let scotch magically appear.” a last knot, and he hums again. “Yes, you’re a great agent as the MI6 clearly knows. But sometimes it’s good to keep an eye on things in case something turns out to be a threat, you know?” carefully he puts a dressing on the wound, siting back, clenching and unclenching his hands. They feel stiff and achy after doing a suture after so many years but at least he could keep his hands somewhat steady. “Thankfully I had no reason to believe so yet.”

“Oh with that, I can easily help.” these days, magic has become easier to him than doing his former job, so with a swift move of his hands he lets a full glass of scotch appear on the table, having put a spell on it so it will refill on its own, followed by a first aid kit, disinfecting the area, then taking the suture needle. “I’ve been having an eye on your ... well, carrer. Shouldn’t you used by now to ruined suits?” slow, but somewhat steady hands make their work, concentrating hard on not messing the stitches up. 

“Sorcerer Supreme.” he confirms. Stephen knows that the other must be confused. “I will explain properly once I took care of that wound. Just know, Mr. Bond, that there are things you don’t know about.” slightly shaking hands press at the sides of the wound, examining it. “Knife, by the looks of it. Clean cut, deep but nothing major.” he takes a clean cloth, pressing it to the wound. “Still needs stichtes, though.” Stephen says with a sigh. “I can’t promise that it will look pretty, my hands obviously are not what they’re used to be.”

An exaggerated sigh is leaving his lips. Clearly that must be something that really bugs the others mind. “Sorcerers are far more complex than wizards. We don’t do party tricks, although, I am not opposed to turn you into a pig.” gloved fingers rub his temple. “There are some similarities between the two, a pointy hat certainly is not, though.”

He understands the hesitance, you don’t just trust someone you’ve just met. “Technically I never gave up the title. Doctor Stephen Strange my name, formerly a Neurosurgeon, now Sorcerer Supreme.” Stephen slides the gloves from his hands, revealing the scarred tissue and the reason why he is a former neurosurgeon. “May I?” he asks, waiting for the others permission.

He gives the other a once over, considering the blood on his suit jacket. “You know, that does look like it’s something to worry about.” his arms unfold, taking a step closer. “My hands may not what they used to be but I can have a look if you wish.”
