fcllenflowerâ:
The fallen angel sighed softly as the other angel came to their rescue, their eyes saddening when they were cut down in front of their eyes. Their grip tightening around the sword. âThey are just confused.â They tried to protest before nodding their head. âI-Iâm fine.â
âThey are confused,â she agreed with a sigh, looking over at where the rebels once stood. âConfused and misguided, but that does not mean we can let them run this city into the ground. They would have killed you without a second thought, you cannot give them that opportunity again.â As an Angel, the loss of life pained her of course, but to ambush the city she called home was an offence she couldnât, and wouldnât, pardon. âYour name?âÂ
Their eyes couldnât help but hold their sorrow as they looked at their lifeless bodies. But she was right and another sigh came from the fallen angel. Yet they didnât chose this cityâ they were chained to it for choosing the humanâs side... but wasnât that their purpose? To watch over them and guide them? But they froze in place when she asked their name. His was a disgrace to them.... the general that defied. âLynden.â They hesitated.
