I'm unstoppable.

Cassidy smiled “Wow.. You were doing so well until you got to the part where i was shouting” she teased “However since you played that so well, i might just consider it..” she laughed 

"Ha, okay maybe I can see into the future as well? And I just knew you were going to consider buying me pizza?” Benji shrugged his shoulders and laughed. “Please do. I’ll eat any pizza that doesn’t have anchovies or olives on it.”

        ‘ we need to work on that, ‘ georgia said, decisive. ‘ ooh, auckland. i have no idea what that means, but it sounds fun. and i’m sure i’ll find someone to amuse myself with while i’m there. ‘ whether it was one of the locals, or someone closer to home, she’d work out along the way.

"How do you suggest we work on that?” Benji raised a brow and then laughed. “Auckland in a place in New Zealand, love. Beautiful scenery-- you’ll love it there.” he nodded. “I’m sure we all will. Gotta make the most of our time on this tour.”

Kailani laughed and shook her head “Baby, we could have this fight all day and neither of us would win..” she nodded, standing on her toes to place a small, sweet kiss to his lips. “I think you would be just fine without me, give yourself a tad more credit..” she nodded, sliding one hand up to cup his cheek softly as she looked at him, chewing her bottom lip softly “Same goes, B” she nodded “you know that..” 

"I know. Which is why you’re better off just nodding your head and agreeing with me so we don’t fight about it.” Benji laughed lightly, smiling against Kailani’s lips as she kissed him. “Okay then, let me rephrase...I wouldn’t want to do this without you. Without our band. I couldn’t imagine being on this tour alone.” he shrugged his shoulders, leaning into her touch as her hand raised to caress his cheek. “A few more hours and we’ll be on stage...”

Every time Benji spoke to Kailani? She believed every single word that left his mouth. There was not a doubt in her mind that he backed every word he said, 100%. “We made it..” she repeated softly, her arms wrapping around him as she let her body relax into his, just for the few moments of freedom they had. “I don’t know what i did to deserve someone like you… but i’m so glad i found you” she smiled, her chin resting against his chest as she looked up at him “Us. They’re going to love us..” she corrected “Thank you…” 

Benji smiled when Kailani repeated his words, letting go of her hand so he could wrap his arms around her shoulders instead. “Oh please--” the blonde scoffed lightly, pressing a kiss to the side of her head. “If anyone here hit the jackpot, it’s me. I’m lucky to have you in my life. I really am. Wouldn’t be here without you.” he shook his head and then pulled back slightly so he could look down at her properly. “Us. Right.” he laughed as he too, corrected himself. “No need to thank me, babe. You know I’ll always be here for you.”

       georgia rolled her eyes. ‘ you’re no fun, ‘ she sighed ; but then, she hadn’t really expected him to act on her idle flirting. ‘ i guess hanging out with you isn’t exactly a hardship, though, so i’ll see what i can do. ‘ she paused, thinking for a moment. ‘ does this epic tour have a stop in new zealand? might have to get some practice in so i can fit in with the locals. ‘

"Totally boring, I know.” Benji laughed lightly. It was hard at times, not being able to tell people about his relationship. Especially because the blonde was known as a bit of a flirt before he’d gotten with his band mate, Kailani. “It does, actually. And in my hometown as well. Auckland, New Zealand. Best not to try and fit in, I’m sure the Kiwi’s will enjoy the foreign ladies.”

Kailani was focused, mostly on the stress radiating through her body. This meant everything to her band, she was more than aware of that and maybe that is why the pressure was so great. She was so focused in fact, that until the contact between herself and Benji, she hadn’t even noticed he was there. Jumping slightly as she looked up at him, a smile crossing her features as she interlaced their fingers. “This is the one and only time i’m going to admit it but yes..” She laughed softly “I can’t even tell you why.. we’ve done this a thousand times before..” she nodded “But it’s different this time..” 

"It’s okay to be nervous. This is our first show on this tour. I know that once you get on that stage, those nerves of yours are going to fade away and you’re going to perform incredibly, as you always do. We’ve been working so hard for this, baby-- so hard. And we’re finally here, touring the world, doing what we love. We made it.” Benji couldn’t help but smile as he pulled Kailani into his arms. “We’re going to be fine. You’re going to be fine. I’m going to be right beside you the entire time. And the crowd is going to love you.”

     ‘ well. it’s still sorta obvious, but i’ll let it slide. ‘ she was generous like that. ‘ uh, never tried kiwi. or at least not the accent. ‘ georgia grinned.. ‘ maybe you’ll have to show me? ‘

"Oh well, it’s nice to be different.” Benji shrugged his shoulders. “You should try it. I used to get picked on in school for being the kid with the accent. If you wanna learn it, all you gotta do is hang around me more often. You’re bound to pick up on it eventually.”

      ‘ you’re not doing too bad. i totally thought you were american for a second there, ‘ georgia teased with a laugh. ‘ what’s the point in life if you don’t try new things, though? sure, you might sound dumb, but that’s just life. ‘

"My Kiwi accent has blended nicely with the American one over the last few years.” Benji laughed lightly. “So what other accents have you tried out? Can you do a Kiwi one?”

     ‘ i’ll admit, my british accent sucks, but at least i tried, right? when in rome and all that. ‘

"I totally dig the accents here, but I’d never attempt them myself. I can’t even master the American accent yet and I’ve been living in America since I was ten.”

“God I needed this, sometimes i really hate touring and rehearsals.”

"Haven’t really been on tour before, so I can’t say I hate it. Rehearsals on the other hand, can get pretty exhausting.” 

When it came to performing? Kailani was never generally nervous. Sure there was always that little bubble of pre-show jitters but she had never been the type to suffer from stage fright, nor be overly nervous. However today? The first official show for the tour? Kailani was extremely nervous. Though she still had a few hours before she was set to hit the stage with her band, she still found herself pacing backstage. Completely unaware of the person nearby trying to get her attention. 

Benji wasn’t a nervous guy, no matter what the situation was. He’d been performing in front of people since he was a toddler, so it was normal for him not to fear crowds. He was so excited to get on stage and sing for everyone. And even more excited to be on stage with his band for their first tour show. This was the dream, and he was now living it with the people he’d been working with for years now. He spotted Kailani pacing, already knowing that she must have been feeling a little nervous....and after failing at getting her attention by calling her name, he closed the space between them and took hold of her hand ( after making sure they were actually alone. ) “Hey, you alright? Nervous?” he raised a brow.

“Oh Gosh! I’m totally changing your name in my phone now” she said getting her phone out and changing it, “There done.” 

"That’s probably going to be the longest name in your phone then.” Benji smirked.

‘ you guys could make a duet ! you on the vocals & guitar & he could sing the chorus. ’ he joked. ‘ it’d be cool though, i agree. ’

"Or maybe I could have him step in for me when I’m feeling sick, or I randomlly lose my voice? I mean, if he’s my long lost identical twin brother then hopefully he’ll have the same vocal ability as me. And he’ll have some interest in playing guitar as well.” 

“i normally say beer is a less luxurious version of champagne. there’s not much difference between them for me.” ann said with a nod, it wasn’t hard to find someone who didn’t like beer that much. “i have a few good bottles with me back in my room if you’re willing to try.”

"I don’t drink champagne very much either.” Benji laughed lightly. “But yeah, sure. I’ll definitely try whatever you wanna throw at me. Bitter or not. Maybe I’ll actually like one of them.”

“perfect” Cassidy smiled and nodded “You’ve got yourself a deal, sounds good to me” she gave a half shrug “Damnit.. I was hoping you’d tell me what my brain has decided it wants for lunch today..” 

"Oh, well, if it’s purely to find out what you want for lunch I don’t mind sharing that information with you.” Benji trailed off for a moment, pretending as though he was actually trying to read her mind-- his eyes narrowing slightly. “Okay, I’m getting the feeling that you’re in the mood for pizza. And I’m also getting the feeling that you wanna buy me some pizza as well.” he laughed.
