Maybe it was a mistake moving here. The thought kept coming back ‘round to her mind while she packed, the twins preoccupied on the floor of the room with their toys. Ever since the Ignis head alpha had been attacked– well, no, ever since the first wolf had been found dead, Celes had been worried, panicking internally until bit by bit her fear had found its way to the surface. Wiping away a tear, the woman hadn’t noticed the door open or hear anyone approach, sniffling as she set another stack of clothes into her suitcase. She wasn’t leaving Wolfstone, but it might have looked like it. The safest place in town for her and the twins to be were with Leo. And prioritizing safety above else, the studio was going to be closed until further notice. Startled by the sound of footsteps finally catching her ears, she turned, breath catching in fear before she slowly exhaled in relief. “Hey, Rhea. Sorry, I didn’t hear you come in.”

Rhea had just gotten off of work and got her morning coffee, she was on her way to celestina’s to watch the twins honestly she couldn't wait to see them and their smiling faces. She made it to the building in record time and climbed the steps tot he apartment, keeping hold of her bag she got out her keys and opened the door. She was about to say good morning when she noticed Celes frantically packing things away, “Yeah im here as always....what are you doing?” The brunette questioned as she put her bag down and walked over to her friend. “Is everything okay? Did someone threaten you?” She asked scared for her friend given everything that is happening now she had to be sure.

“No–” The word had fallen from his lips perhaps too forcefully and the male had cut himself off right then, eyes falling shut for just a moment as he exhaled a long breath. Re-opening them, he re-crossed his arms and shook his head as he spoke again. “No, if I vent or lose myself to my emotions now… Nothing will get done. And the pack would be out their head alpha and second in command. One of our own passed away, and if the pack’s leaders fall apart now… Then it’ll be chaos. I’ll breathe easy when Leo’s back at the helm and I know how everyone is doing.” When it came to the topic of her brother, however, he was less decided, only uttering a: “He’s busy at that townhouse. Happens when you’ve got family in high places.”

Rhea nodded understanding she just wished he would open up and just let it out, it might help but she’s known Nico long enough not to argue with him. She still felt horrible that one of their own had died and that the town was on lock down she wished none of this had happened but it still did. “How is Leo handling this?” She asked quietly knowing her brother was probably not taking it well and that Nico was going to have a lot more responsibility because if it. She knew he had to go soon to check on everyone else in the pack, Rhea smiled and gave him a coffee in a to go cup before seeing him out.

It was the next day when she heard the door again she knew it was nico coming to check on her again, he probably already heard about her little trip to see Leo at the hunter house the night before. Walking she smiled as she opened the door, “still doing rounds I see”. She let him come inside before shutting the door once more, the omega had food cooking on the stove so she walked back into the kitchen to manage it.

“–Oh, my goodness, you bathed them, you really are an angel.” To say that it had been difficult to win the trust of the Wolfstone packs two years ago and find someone to help her with her twins had been putting it lightly. How she’d managed to befriend Rhea… Well, she was perhaps a large reason why Celestina had pledged her loyalty to the Caeli pack in the first place, thankful for the fact that the fun-loving omega had been willing to take a chance on her. She had come upstairs after her last class had finished in the early afternoon, the studio closed earlier than usual due to the tragedy that had shaken the town and set her elbow onto the high set railing of Drina’s crib. “They weren’t too much trouble, were they? Would you like to stay for dinner? I have chicken marinating in the fridge I was planning on baking.” Smiling, she quickly squatted down as Alex practically ran to her. “Hello, little one… Did you behave for Auntie Rhea today?”

“Of course I bathed them, I couldn’t let them run around covered in paint and sauce could I” Rhea said with a smile and a laugh as she looked at Celestina. “I don’t want to be a bother” she said trailing off as she helped drina get changed into her clean clothes. Thankfully Alex was already dressed, the brunette smiled as she watched Alex run over to his mom. The slightly younger omega was happy that she was able to make such a good friend in celestina and be able to help her care of her kids, she loved them like her own and she saw celestina like a sister now.

“You know in times like these, a few years ago I’d be the one leaving town onto my next adventure. Or, possibly would have been an emotional mess.” His hand fell open then, fingers straightening as he seemed to linger on his answer for a second before he continued, having walking into her home and turned when he had spoken. “But, in my position now, I can’t afford to do either. Not when… Not when your brother is in that house of horrors, and I find myself responsible for… Everyone else.”

Rhea nodded as she shut the door behind him, she followed him further into her apartment as she placed her coffee down onto the table. She could see how stressed and angry Nico was no matter how hard he tried to hide it, she sigh softly. “ you can do it here you know, I won’t judge you or say anything if you just want to let it all out. I know keeping things inside is never good and it might help if you let it all out so you can focus on other responsibilities.” Rhea offered with a small smile she hoped Nico would let it all out so he could focus on the pack and what he had to do to help Leo. “I haven’t heard from leo yet.....I wish he would atleast come see me. Let me know he was okay or anything”
