just one of the many, many things that are happening right now in my city. i am in tears. i cannot fathom what is going on right now.
cities are underwater, levees are failing, Entergy’s (our power company) TRANSMISSION towers blew & fell into the river (aka no power for months, possibly), houses are completely wiped, roofs have caved in.
I cannot sleep or even think straight. I am terrified to go home. Please, PLEASE if you are able to donate any amount to any of us.. I have a paypal (I would send it to my family tbh) but if you aren’t comfortable with that, there are organizations that also take donations for help with gas (for the boats rescuing people), resources (tarps, water, food) & room and board for those who needed to be rescued. I’m only saying this all just in case you can/want to. We are strong down here, we can get through it. Thank you all regardless ♥️ Below the cut are just some screenshots of just how awful it is, but I haven’t even covered the worst. Just to get an idea of the extremities.
