CorrespondĂȘncia do fim do Universo vol. 01, de Menota (đ§đ· edition)
Original title: Hate no shoutsuushin vol. 1
Translation: Dirce Miyamura
Publishing house: BaĂș Editora
Hiroko Oyamadaâs novel The Factory (A FĂĄbrica) landed in my hands in a mysterious way: recommended by a friend who told me simply to read it, believing I would eventually be surprised.
Set in contemporary Japan, the story transcends borders by addressing universal themes: the precarity of labor, and the objectification and dehumanization of the worker. Through suffocating, claustrophobic prose, Oyamada constructs a dense metaphor for the current labor landscape and the challenges facing the working classâchallenges that are by no means restricted to Japan.

John Ajvide Lindqvist and I aren't friends
I never have tried for so long to read a book.
Throughout my development as a reader, I met someone whose reading philosophy was never to waste time on a book they weren't enjoying: if you're reading something you donât like, feel free to abandon it and move on to the next oneâno pressure, no guilt.
At the time, what stopped me from following this advice was the fact that I ran a book review blog partnered with several publishers. In a way, I had a commercial obligation to read what was sent to me and write about it. When I didn't enjoy a book and spoke up, I often felt pressured or criticized for writing a negative review.

There's no hate like christian love
