This is the most braindead take I’ve ever seen. And so many comments were AGREEING WITH OP!!

What Bucky did while operating as the Winter Soldier is not Bucky’s fault. He was TORTURED. BRAINWASHED. MANIPULATED. MIND CONTROLLED. He had NO CONTROL over his own actions for 70 years.

If ANYONE owes Tony’s family anything - it’s Hydra.

And to be quite honest, I don’t feel sorry for Howard Stark in the slightest. First of all he was primarily responsible for operation paperclip, which recruited Dr. Arnim Zola (you know… one of the first ones to experiment on Bucky?!?) to SHIELD. He was the one who decided to trust the wrong people, he was the one who brought Maria.

So no. Bucky doesn’t owe anyone SHIT. He already spent enough time “making amends” for shit that wasn’t even his fault.

And I’m genuinely confused because is that not what you should want? The movies are great, I love them with all of my heart. But the movies are not book accurate, from five onward they’re barely accurate if we’re being honest. Which everyone has complained about since the movies were coming out. Also, the movies are not going to suddenly disappear and become lost media the second the show premieres. The movies will always be there.

Now we’re getting a show which has more time than the movies and more room to breathe, of course they’re going to be closer to the books which in turn will make them better than the movies. And that is okay!

The movies don’t include this crucial scene so it’s easy to forget this part and assume Draco only starts talking to him because he’s Harry Potter. But that is totally wrong. And Harry’s simple clothing at the robe shop makes it obvious that he’s not some rich Sacred 28 child like Draco, and Draco has no way of even knowing Harry’s blood status at first. For all Draco knows at this point, Harry could be a lower-class Muggle-born, the antithesis of what Draco has been raised to want anything to do with.

Yet Draco still initiates a conversation and, with his flawed social skills, starts saying all the things he’s been raised to believe will impress a person and make a person like him. And the question of whether both of Harry’s parents were magical isn’t even the first thing he asks!
