The wave.... Most peeps who know me IRL know my signature hair do - it's affectionately called 'the wave' and it's a byproduct of having curly hair, a cowlick and shaved back n sides! As much as I love the do (it's so easy to create and maintain... my hair is never in my eyes or messed up by wind) i sometimes don't like how recognizable it is and I am with it..... I get a lot of stares, a lot of questions and a lot of requests to touch it! I've had the wave for a couple of years now and I'm seriously contemplating shaving it off...????

I've been contemplating for a long time whether to start a blog or not - so I thought I'd just jump in and see how I/it goes.... I know there are lots of body positive blogs out there and I love to read them, so surely one more couldn't hurt???! I am a 30something chick from an inner city part of Melbourne. I am a proud plus size person who describes herself as fat. I love to buy second hand and vintage clothing I am very partial to wearing red lipstick I wear a petticoat and frock most days I am a mum to 2 girls who are pretty amazing I am the wife to a wife I love coffee, beer, bike riding, bad Telly, soppy fanfic, musicals and naps!
