Been struggling a bit, hit a rut/got annoyed that I'm painting stuff to a standard I'm not entirely happy with when it's not like I'm gunna get any games. The entire point is hobbying and painting so if I'm not really getting where I want with that it all feels a bit empty*. The crews for the two cannons really challenged me, struggled to read the models and get them anywhere near even my usual "standard". Not had a chance to prime my Lancers due to the weather either being outrageously warm or raining but I'm trying to get myself back to it this week, will either risk priming them in the 30+ heat (which to be fair I think isn't too risky but I'm very risk averse...) or I'll get to building the Bastion box.
Still need to work out how to get a decent meadow/field basing scheme down too. The regiment trays I ordered from my nephew are, I guess, never showing up so I'll have to find an alternative for those too, god bless the lad he's alright enough but he ain't reliable.
*this hits me at some point every time I get back into hobbying, being isolated out in the Shire is a bit of a nuisance really, gotta find ways to entertain myself and find meaning and since I'm invariably sorta shit at everything I try to commit myself to it doesn't take much to suck the wind right out of me
