wendy  was  half  tempted  to  ask  why  she  couldn’t  be  the  muscle,  but  she  decided  against  it.   it  was  probably  best  not  to  upset  pam  right  now.  if  there  was  anything  she’d  learned  by knowing  her,  it  was  that.     ❛    yeah,   i’ve  got  your  back.   but   ....    promise  not  to  die  on  me,  okay?    ❜

she  hated  coming  clean.   it  seemed  that  these  days,  ingrid  was  even  scarier  than  joanna  when  it  came  to  this  sort  of  thing.  but  it  had  to  be  done.   ❛    so,   i   may  or  may  not  have  found  the  tenth  circle  of  hell.   should  we  tell  your  mom?    ❜

it   wasn’t   like   wendy   hadn’t  perfected  something  like  this  before.   it  was  said  that  you  should  keep  your  friends  close,  but  your  enemies  closer.   and  maybe  that’s  why  now,   as  she  stood  outside  the  home  of  mary  wardwell,  she  was  intent  on  getting  the  information  she  desperately  sought.   she  was  suspicious,  that  much  was  clear.   but  why?   the  brunette  was  determined  to  get  to  the  bottom  of  it.   if  not  for  herself,  then  for  the  spellmans.   they  had  way  too  much  on  their  plate  on  any  given  day  and  couldn’t  afford  to  be  chasing  around  this  woman  to  see  what  she  was  up  to.   luckily,  for  wendy,  she  didn’t  have  many  responsibilities.   a  hand  came  up,  rapping  against  the  door  and  she  waited   ------     waited  for  the  woman  to  answer.
