He'd give Link Joker a challenge. One they couldn't possibly refuse, and hopefully, given his promise, if he did he fight, he'd recover and be unscathed.

'I can't let him know…About that…'

"Just, focus on healing. Please. I don't wish to lose you."

It was hard enough to even explain some of the information to his Vanguard. But to one who doesn’t know what has already transpired…Blaster Blade knew that the news would shock the other.

"It’s quiet…"

"That it is..." The Unit stood nearby, hands in his pockets.

"Aright right this way Kai," Miwa said and lead Kai throughout the town. Took him to places that had the best food to places where it was best to avoid. Even took him to places where they could have a lot of fun. By the time he finished touring the town with Kai they had found a place to sit and rest. There they talked about themselves.  

As he sat down next to the blond, Kai shot some questions. "So tell me, Miwa, are you a good Cardfighter, and do you have many allies?"

But Link Joker is around. It’s been infecting others; a seed, as they call it. It’s growing, taking over. The Quatre Knights are in disarray, my friends have been separated. I don’t… know what’s going on… Not really. Someone else might be able to fill you in better. I want to try though, but… you might be in trouble; everyone is”.

"I will do anything to help. I'm not afraid of trouble."

"It’s…Been a while since I’ve seen you here." For the other to reach out and touch his hand, there was the feeling of wanting to draw it back but he let him. "I wish I could say ‘yes’…" There was regret in those words.

"Is there anything I can do? It pains me to see you suffering."

"Aichi...." He shoved his hands together, wringing them. "I sense danger. Everywhere. Can you fill me in?"

"Yeah. It’s nothing too serious…"

"I’m alright. It’s nothing that I haven’t faced before…" But he winced when he tried to move even if it was just a little.

"Got any thing you want to do?" 

"I don't really know...what do people do on their 'birthdays'?" Kai was a little confused, but wanted to do something regardless. Having a little fun on the day Miwa made special would be better than doing nothing.
