Xia Fei is somehow using Lu Guang's power here. Or something connected somehow to LG. Like, there has to be a power in play here because his eyes aren't shown in this shot. I think it's LG-esque bc his position is like. One of the exact ones LG has been in (in the s.3 trailers).

Time is an unstoppable force. Everything eventually meets its end at its hands. Gods are said to have supernatural powers—as in, they can defy natural order, if only slightly/temporarily. Lu Guang is a god of sorts in this sense, for he is quite literally working against time itself (in a losing battle?) to keep Cheng Xiaoshi from meeting his fate.
Still, even if it won't last forever, Cheng Xiaoshi currently still lives. That's a miracle in itself: He should not be walking around with his heart continuously beating. This new version of the timeline never should've existed either. But it does. It does because Lu Guang is going against everything that is order. His own gift is and would be Cheng Xiaoshi, but he cannot keep him for himself, so instead he gives him to this new world.
And in the end, if he can't have Cheng Xiaoshi by his side, he can nevertheless refuse to let time take him instead. What he can do is permanently cast him off in a new timeline. One where he has no knowledge of Lu Guang. It's better this way, and more selfless than he would've thought he's capable of, but why does he deserve to be selfish when Cheng Xiaoshi actually deserves to continue on?

I still think CXS is the gift from "God" because his life is the gift LG grants the world and denies time from taking. That's definitely what LX meant.

JL's targets are given to him by unknown figures, along with the information(?) on the them. It seems he does rely on info to capture them (perhaps even memories?). If you want to cut a lot of corners, you may even think of this as a gossip line—but gossip oftentimes isn't true. So, false information could be going either way—maybe one can implement false memories even? That'd be interesting.
"Whistling is the warning I'm giving you" and "Follow my whistle"
Specifically British (cough Bridon) folklore speaks of these "whistlers." LX and WQ both have birds as their animals. . . . Though LX's is the one also considered an omen-bringer. But just think this is merely coincidental and we should focus on the number seven. But first is six, and that coullllld be the hot-headed trio combined with the photo trio? LTC and WQ would be left out but they're kinda alone rn anyway. JL is also an outlier, but since this song is from his pov, it makes sense that he'd be the seventh. Perhaps if he chooses a permanent side, that'll be incredibly detrimental to the opposite one.
Also in other folklore, there are warnings of entities whistling or mimicking such sounds to lure their prey closer. In this case, JL is admitting the whistle is a warning of himself, but you should trail after it anyway. So, he believes himself alluring enough that any "warning" he gives will be disregarded.
Speaking of allure, here we have the sharpness hidden in beauty. Could his power have something to do with disarming people? Like, it could extend from just basic charisma. This manipulation does sort of remind me of LX, and there is another similarity as follows:
"Waiting, looking forward to the next situation"
I personally immediately think of this line from Manipulator (LX's song): "Setting the trap I'm waiting for you down the hole." And this is because in both cases, the hunter is lying in wait for their prey—just in varying ways. LX is proactively planning his moves ahead of time to lien them up in a satisfactory domino effect. JL, on the other hand, patiently waits for the right moment even if he didn't cultivate it (though I think he can manipulate situations still if he wanted to, given the first line I mentioned above). Perhaps it's more entertaining this way, though.
"Let's play hide and seek though I always win"
More LX similarities; he has the whole "You may run and run" line, which gives off the same gist as this one: You can't escape. They'll both emerge victorious in the end. (Though one has to wonder, what if they're forced to play against themselves?) Alsooo maybe this hints at him having some sort of tracking power?
(I kinda got out of order but oh well.) This makes me think JL IS aware of the significance of the mark he tattoos onto people (or maybe he even saw it through someone's memories, if that's possible?). Or his tattoos in general could be marking his eventual victims even, though that may be a stretch. Who knows? Maybe he's the true leader of the "tattoo cult" (idk what else to call it) or he invented the symbol. Nevertheless, he's definitely intertwined with it in some way.

(Idk when the actual pv will release so these are just some quick observations.)
This one tattoo here is giving me ram head vibes. Like the one that LX holds in Moth to a Flame and like the heads of those people in LX's pv. (Very cult behavior.) So yeah, the tattooed people are definitely followers of SOMETHING, and maybe that something isn't LX after all, and he's just as powerless as them? Or WAS until he stole their powers? The implication that JL tattooed them all (or, well, some of them) instead of LX (who is shown getting his tattoo) is also interesting. Because they obv have past connections, we now know. So, LX (in that old trailer) saw the weird eye/angel symbol and then got a tattoo of it later. But we've no idea how much time lapsed between then.
I'm probably reading too much into this but left to right: CXS, LG, LX, and Veinnnn? (I think it's more red than pink, and it's also next to LX instead of the others.) Are these the people he'll interact with (most) in s.3? Or affect the most? But then I think the yellow should also mean XF (does he join the "good guys" side?) because:
Deer head tattoo design on back wall. It could be any animal but they chose a deer for a reason. Andddd the deer honestly looks like it has LX's tattoo on its neck. Kind of. This could mean A: LX "becomes" prey (again, part of the cult in order to lead it?) to achieve his goals. B: This is how JL views LX (and the other followers by extension?) since he is a true hunter mayhaps. C: XF joins the cult instead of the good guys. D: It's just a cool tattoo design. Also though, I think there's a snake on the back wall as well, and that can allude back to the whole Garden of Eden thing and the PAIN mv. Like, JL could be that snake hunting prey idk.
