This is me with my friend, Jenny. We are nine-years-old....

My husband ran the Boston Marathon in 2006. At the finish line they were giving everyone these red go-gurt things to drink. Post race go-gurt didn't sit well with a lot of people. It reminded me of the year they gave out jelly filled donuts at around mile six of the Saint Jude Marathon in Memphis...

"It must take a long time to sail from Columbia to Guam." “Three months."

Sort of like Hopper's "Nighthawks" but on Guam...mid-morning...and instead of staring into coffee, the guy is playing an on-line game.

Under this sky she told me how she was trying hard not to kill herself. She was getting help. She had two boys to think of. But days like today, when she saw all the happy families together--those were the worst.

Can you believe they want to close our planetarium?
