I hope you guys like it I worked really hard on it
Act I – Elegant Dreads
The show begins in white. A dreamlike opening, models cloaked in elegance. Then, the scene transitions into something strange suddenly they’re bug-like, some resembling flies, bees, even mosquitoes. Just as quickly, the mood shifts back to darkness, roses wrapped around their necks.
Act II
The atmosphere deepens mystery lingers.
Act III
The story builds, expanding into surreal visions, layers of transformation unfolding on the runway.
Act IV – The Bug World
It starts with lighter colors, unusual and unique silhouettes. Then Mugler flips the scene into a surreal bug world. The lights dim, and models emerge looking like actual insects. A queen bee leads in striped yellow-and-black fur, followed by grasshopper-like figures. Strange, yes ,but undeniably mesmerizing.
Act V – The Butterfly & The Swan
Butterflies appear, their wings not on their backs but instead perched dramatically on their necks. Darkness falls again. Then the swans arrive—first the white swan, ethereal and delicate. Immediately after, the black swan erupts from the shadows, trees rising behind her, closing with a breathtaking gown of soft beige and green crystals.
Act VI – The Finale
The final act touches your heart. It feels free, limitless like nothing is holding you back. A peacock glides onto the runway, joined by butterflies. Their wings spread wide, symbolizing freedom, creation, and the sheer magic of what fabric can become. It ends with a sense of je ne sais quoi something you can’t quite name, but feel deeply.

Cavalli Spring/Summer 2003 Runway. Models stormed down the catwalk with a fierce energy that matched their wild, untamed hair
that’s when you know you’re watching a good runway show. Many of the designs drew inspiration from East Asia, channeling wild animal and flower prints. Feminine, sexy, and unique, Cavalli played with fabrics, silhouettes, colors, and textures. That, ultimately, is what makes a brand’s DNA — its unmistakable signature.

LACEMADE The Befalling Of Wings Dress if you want to support this blog consider donating to:ko-fi.com/fashionrunways
The Fall 2025 Gaurav Gupta couture show opened with something unforgettable: a woman—his wife—who had survived severe burns walked the runway, her body still visibly marked by trauma. The show, titled Across the Flame, wasn’t just a presentation of clothes. It was a visual memoir of what she went through. Every piece that followed told a chapter of her journey: from the horror of the fire itself, to the slow and painful process of healing, to the deep emotional toll it left behind, and finally to the quiet, dignified strength she now carries.
This wasn’t fashion used to hide, decorate, or impress. It was fashion used to reveal. And that’s what makes it the strongest art form in the world. Clothes don’t just sit on a body—they carry stories. They turn pain into power, silence into spectacle. And when the story is real, raw, and lived… it hits you in your chest.
