a little italianate victorian style starter in my backlog for vampires on a budget. it comes on a 30x30 lot, but its footprint is small enough that it’ll happily squeeze onto a 20x15.

a simple little craftsman bungalow style starter home that comes with basically nothing but is pretty ready-made to grow into, with room for at least six sims right off the bat. the dormers can cheerfully be expanded into a large second floor for skilling/legacy nonsense.

basketball flooring v.2 - by farfalle - requires city living

i almost immediately wanted to re-attack my palette after posting this--it was mathematically extrapolated, resulting in some wonk colors that looked fine during testing but didn’t look good in actual gameplay lighting situations. i removed those, added some colors i felt were missing, modified the texture to reduce the weird burnt-out definition near the edges of the planks and increase plank definition in lighter colors, and i’m a lot happier with the end result. because this version is about 2000% better than the previous version, the old post has been removed.

comes in three flavors: the high shine of the original flooring, a demi-matte that’s closer to oiled wood, and a shine-free matte finish.

auldale row - a cc-free 40x30 shopping district

by far my most unnecessarily ambitious construction project! auldale row is community lot accompaniment to my little newcrest neighborhood and comes with a bakery, pub, café, bookstore, and a large office building with skilling suites (wellness, music, painting/woodworking, photography). it’s packed as a cafe, but it meets the item requirements for an arts center, bar, karaoke bar, lounge, or museum if you want to switch it up. it can also be run as a retail lot, but god knows why you’d hate yourself that much.

the only things it lacks are beds and showers/tubs, but the 2nd and 3rd floors of most of the buildings are empty and can easily be converted into apartments. placement-wise, it looks best in newcrest/willow creek/magnolia promenade, but with a half-timbering makeover it could slot neatly into the one 30x40 lot in downtown windenburg.

no cc, but it uses items from basically every pack except spooky stuff. if i actually owned spooky stuff, it would probably come with that stuff too.
