America is unique in its crimes. In that we acknowledge them. Everyone knows how evil slavery was, about the horrors of Japanese internment camps, about how the country has toppled foreign governments and made things worse. Americans can know what Wounded Knee is, something that could never happen with, say, a Chinese citizen and the Tienanmen Square Massacre or North Koreans and literally everything bad in their country’s history.

My grandpa who is mostly native said we gotta give his land back to him and send the white people back to Europe.... I asked him (since he's not my mom's bio dad) where would I go because I'm a fuck mixture he said good luck whitie.

HIS CHEEKS PUFF OUT

I’ve recently seen several reblogs of posts about the offensive Maui costume released by Disney as part of the merchandise for the Moana movie. I haven’t, however, seen anyone posting about the result, which is that Disney listened to the complaints and withdrew the costume from sale. Obviously it would have been better if they’d realised at the brainstorm stage that selling a fake tattooed skin suit was a really bad idea, but at least this is a satisfying result in terms of getting a change made for the better.
