You weren't originally from Japan when the whole world was petrified, you were suppose to start your Japanese lessons the next day. But, as seeing that no one was going to be doing anything anytime soon.

You were broken out by Senku and some of his friends. Though you had only caught onto a few of their names. As seeing everyone around you speaking a language you didn't know. So, natural, you were very quite and didn't really say anything at all.

Today was one of those days where you wish you knew what was being said. Senku, Chrome, Gen and yourself went out to look for some mysteries thing that was needed for some project that Senku and Chrome were working on. Though soon enough you figured out that were looking for a tree for a medicine, at least that what you thought and could assume.

Assuming because you were Japan, they were looking for a Shinto tree. There fruit could be used for many different things, though it was scared tree in Japan, you weren't sure if they would use any part of the tree, like if it was bad omen.

Soon finding what you were looking for, you waved over Senku and showed him what was what you thought was what he wanted. He inspected the tree and jumped with joy yelling what you you would assume for the other to come and look at the tree to get what they needed.

This happened a few times after this, where you would guess at what it was that they were looking for and find it. All without saying a world to anyone or understanding anything from the others.

Though that was before Gen decided to see why you were so quiet and never seemed to talk. Asking you first in Japanese, which was only answered with a confused look from you. Then after looking at you for a few seconds and connecting a few dots here and there, before asking you the same thing in english.

Now knowing that Gen was just concerned that something was wrong with you, or that you were simple mute, now knowing that you simple just didn't understand anything that was being said.

After this interaction Gen would speck to you in English, every else thinking it was because you two had something weird going on and just not wanting anyone to know. Until Senku happened.

The night that Gen had figured out that you did not know Japanese, he told Senku , and also telling him that you spoke English and if he wanted you to understand anything it would have to be in English.

So he wanted your help with a recent project that Chrome and himself were working on and just needed an extra set of hands. Walking into the hut, Senku, in english, asked if you would take over with what he was stirring. Surprised that he said something to him in english, you responded simple with a "Ya, I can Senku". Not sure why you added his name in it at the end, also not knowing what you had just done to this poor man's head and heart.

His heart was going a thousand miles a second and his mind was all foggy and he couldn't think straight, much less think of what he was about to do. So, he did the next best thing, he left the hut in search of Gen.

Finding him enjoying a cola in his hut, he started asking him questions about why he was feeling the way that he was. Gen, after laughing at Senku, told him, that he had a crush on the english speaking friend.

To Senku it was so dumb of him to get so flustered over how someone simply said his name. Though now he went out of his way to go and talk to you and to get you to say his name. He loved the way that you would say it. Though, when you said it he would take longer to respond or not hear someone trying to get his attention.

Though soon enough Gen was sick of seeing the two love birds talk to each other about anything and everything. So, one night he locked you both in the science room until you both FINAL reveled that you liked each other.
