How will this work?

You already know who you want to work with? Great! Fill this form! 

If you do not have anyone: 

I will provide a google sheet to fill for those of you who do not have someone to write with.  Please either choose from the people already there or fill it!

The description says 5 chapters, but we only need THREE: each writer will write three (3) chapters, for a total of six!

You (as a team) will choose two (2) tropes and two (2) prompts that are opposite!! This will be most fun if your choice are truly opposite, so keep that in mind as you choose!

How many words per chapter? You will decide a range between the two of you. What is doable for each writer always changes so it is up to your team to decide.

if we post too fast, we get accused of using ai (no, you don't know how fast someone can write. you don't even know if the "too-frequent-to-be-human updates" you see are something that have long been finished and sitting in an author's drafts for god knows how long. just because it's recently posted, doesn't necessarily always mean it's recently written too. a lot of writers finish the whole thing first before they start posting it chapter by chapter).

if we take "too long to update", we get people pressuring us to "update faster" even though fanfics are our hobbies and we write for ourselves first and foremost.

if our works are grammatically correct, we get accused of using ai (some of us just love correct grammars).

if our works are not grammatically correct, we get insulted/criticized (mind you, not everybody writes in their native language. kudos to writers who write in their second, or third, or fourth language — I'm willing to bet a lot of people who criticize fanfics because of poor grammar can't even speak other languages besides english).

if our paragraphs are "too long and too detailed", we get accused of using ai.

if our paragraphs are "too short", we also get accused of using ai.

if we are autistic and we write in ways some deem "too robotic", we get accused of using ai.

on a first date that was not going well, but now you're stuck on the run with your date

on a long, isolated hike, returning to desolate cities with no way to get any information on what happened, where survivor communities might be, how to stay safe, etc.

on a ride at an adventure park, watching everyone on the ground be overrun while pinned in place with a dozen or so people

on set for a zombie movie, unable to tell actors and the real thing apart

at a con in full costume, which makes for surprisingly good protection from bites but not a very comfortable outfit to be on the run in

having just left the tattoo parlor after getting your partner‘s bite mark tattooed… which no one would ever believe, so everyone thinks you‘re infected

"Hey," Buck said with a wink as he continued over to the coffee pot. He felt the breath on his neck before he even grabbed the damn mug.

"Hey, yourself," Eddie whispered, his hand roaming the exposed skin of Evan's back, "Last night was pretty amazing."

"Yes, it was," he agreed, turning to face his love, a smile beaming on his face. "You ready for another round?"

"Always."

A wicked smile danced across his lips as he pulled Buck close, "So many things, baby."

A soft moan pushed past his lips when Eddie's hand rubbed against the front of his pants. "I can't wait."The sound of laughter filtered through the door, stealing their attention for a second. "We gotta be quiet."

"I think we can manage that."

Buck let out a sigh of relief as he nuzzled into Eddie's chest; the booze induced bravery had paid off. He really wasn't sure what was going to happen when he pulled his best friend in for that kiss.

They laid there with their sticky, exposed bodies tangled together, their heartbeats slowing as they cuddled. Eddie's fingers lazily combed through his tousled hair, his other arm tightly giving reassurance.

Buck had never had a place where he felt safe, relaxed, like the outside world didn't exist. But here in this moment, he had found it, and he was finally home.

The stairs were slippery, but Eddie wouldn't let that stop him. "Please, don't die on me," he whimpered, losing hope. "Buck!"

"Slack, Chim, we need slack!" Eddie called down the ladder.

"Give him some slack!"

"Don't you dare fucking die on me," Eddie yelled, starting to lower him down. "Don't die, Buck. I love you."
