Honestly being a Haikyuu!! fan and a BTS fan is so easy because

“People can ship whatever they want!”

Sometimes I think about how everyone brands Yoongi as the savage one of the group and a badass… and then I know that truthfully he is just a softie who loves to hold hands with his members. He’s a man who stayed up all night writing individual post it notes for army on snacks he purchased when they had little to eat themselves, a man who lives in his studio while working on an album to make sure it’s perfect, a man who refused to get a tattoo so he could do charity, who lets Jungkook playfully tease and “beat up” on him and eat his food, a man who now laughs easily as long as he’s surrounded by his members but still gets camera shy and has a hard time looking into people’s eyes when they compliment him.

Sometimes I think about how Hoseok is branded as cringey and doesn’t take anything serious… but truthfully we all know that he is known as the ‘Golden Hyung’ for a reason. He’s talented, kind and does everything for ARMY even when he may not agree with what they say because that’s how much he loves and respects us. He takes care of the younger members and s seen as the 2nd leader of BTS, yet he’s so underappreciated and we sometimes ask for other members in vlives. Some say he’s cringey, but really Jung Hoseok is trying to remove the awkwardness of the situation for the other members and set the mood. He is literally the hope of BTS, yet sometimes we ignore him and call him cringey. (appreciate him)

Sometimes I think about how Jin is under-appreciated both for his talent and his personality and branded as having a “weak voice” and “can’t dance”… when he practices extra long hours to perfect those talents that none who criticize him possess. He helped to raise the younger members of the group to become kind and caring men, and always makes sure to bring laughter into the room, even at his own expense. His vocals have improved so much with his hard work and he now is center for some new dance breaks (get it Jin).

Sometimes I think about how people always have expectations of Jimin to be thin and have abs (this applies to all idols actually) when it’s clearly not healthy and not what Jimin actually wants. It’s like no one realizes how difficult it is to attain abs and then keep them whilst also working a busy schedule and barely sleeping. Sometimes I also think about how often Jimin is sexualized despite it being completely out of character when he’s just a man that wants to be loved for who he is, not for his appearance or abs. He even wrote a solo about it and has confessed to unstable diets and passing out, and though fans still worry we continue to sexualize him when really he’s just a big cutie. 

Sometimes I think about how people call Namjoon “ugly” or pick on his awkwardness when I find his awkwardness a really endearing trait. His visuals often floor me and he has the most beautiful dark golden skin that is often bleached by many photographers and tumblr editors which is sad. He preaches to Love Yourself no matter who you are and has worked on improving his own faults over time. He is truly an inspiration with everything he has been able to achieve and writes us so many beautiful songs.

Sometimes I think about how people are rude to Jungkook just because of his line distribution. It’s not always his fault that he gets so many lines. It’s not wrong for him to utilize his talent. Sometimes people forget that he worked just as hard as the other member’s to get where he is today. Do you remember when he auditioned and he was told his dancing was too stiff and emotionless? Do you remember how he went to train in America just so he could follow his dreams and work with RM, someone he looked up to, even though he was so young and didn’t know much English at all? Don’t diss him just because he gets more lines ‘cause he worked hard for this. And don’t diss his stans either because people don’t pick who they bias just based on looks or as an ‘easy option’. They pick who they bias because they genuinely like that person. Respect that. 

Sometimes I think about how people call Taehyung weird and only appreciate his visuals, and not his amazingly unique voice. Some people even claim his voice is weak, when in actuality it is as deep as the ocean and has the ability to reach the clouds. His dancing has improved so much he could be on the dance line. His voice has matured so well, and so has he himself as an artist. He has been through so much in the last year or so and I’m glad to see his old smiling self slowly starting to come back. I missed that giggly silly Taehyung for so long. Appreciate how unique he is along with his beauty.
