“Peter!” You immediately run to his side when you see Apocalypse trap him in sand and break his leg. “You absolute bag of dickheads!” You shout at the god as you use all the strength you have in you to send your power flying in his direction. It works only for a short while until Apocalypse shoots a blast of sand your way that has you sailing into the nearest wall and rendering you unconscious. “Y/N!” Peter shouts in distress. “Professor - Professor, you have to help Y/N.” Jeans says as she sits beside Charles, gently shaking at his shoulder. Charles stretches out his mind with the little strength he has left to reach out to yours. “Professor?” You ask curiously and look around. It appears as if you’ve been transported back to the school. “I’m afraid this isn’t real, love.” Charles says as he moves towards you. “But what’s going on outside of here is so I’m going to have to ask you to focus, Y/N. You need to unleash your true potential onto Apocalypse.” You nod and suddenly you’re back in reality as your power engulfs you and everything around you. It takes only moments of your assault coupled with Magneto, Jean, and Ororo to defeat Apocalypse. You run as fast as you can back over to Peter where you easily break his leg free with a well aimed blast and pull him into a tight hug. “Never do anything stupid like that again.” “Sorry no promises, babe.” Peter huffs a laugh as he leans into you before stealing a kiss.

“Loki –” You pull away from Thor who’s holding you back to step closer. “Please stop this madness.” You beg of him. “Oh, Y/N… are you truly naive enough to believe what those humans are feeding you? You are an Asgardian and a warrior no less. Take your place at my right side where you belong.” “You’re crazy if you think that I’d join you.” You growl. Loki pushes past you. “Then stay out of my way, you silly girl.”

You take Peter’s hand as the two of you make your way out of the school for your lunch break. “I’m never going to get my essay done in time.” You complain aloud. Peter reaches over to ruffle your hair and places a quick peck on the tip of your nose. “You’ll be fine - you worry too much.” Suddenly you stop midstep, pulling away from Peter. Your body feels overheated to the point that you can hardly breathe. “Peter?” You whisper hoarsely before collapsing to the ground, your eyes rolling back into your head as your body begins to convulse and shake. “Y/N? Y/N?” Peter drops down to shake at your shoulders. “Someone get the professor!” He shouts as he looks around at the students that had gathered around the two of you in concern. Charles is there within moments. "Peter, what happened?" He questions only to have you unexpectedly send out a force field that has everyone in close vicinity flying backwards. "Y/N!" Peter shouts again in worry as Jean and Jubilee help Charles back into his wheelchair. "Professor, you gotta help her!" "I can't reach her mind -" The force field around you burst into white hot flames before it slowly disappears leaving you standing in its midst. Your entire body is flaming as your hair and clothes whip around you. "Peter?" You ask as you take a step forward and the grass beneath your feet quickly burns to ashes. "Don't move, love." Charles interjects quickly before you can set anything else on fire. "Try to focus on containing yourself." He advises. You nod and take a deep breath, thinking of cool water and ice which causes the flames to diminish. "That was a bit unexpected." You can't help but laugh a bit. Peter rushes forward to hug you tightly in relief. "Oh my God that was so awesome but please never do that again." He steals a kiss before pulling back with a goofy grin. "No PDA allowed." Scott pipes up as he fakes gagging to get a laugh out of Jean and Kurt. You roll your eyes and just to make a point, you pull Peter closer to you by the collar of his ridiculous silver jacket and kiss him with all you've got.

"Good morning, my Queen - or should I say afternoon?" Loki looks over at you with a teasing expression. You sit up with some difficulty and stretch your arms over your head with a yawn. "It's your fault for keeping me up all night." You snark back easily. "And yet you never seem to complain." Loki smirks at you then, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

You groan as you roll over on the couch. "I wanna die." You mumble to Barry who's sitting on the rug. "I can help with that." And suddenly he's gone only to reappear after a moment on the couch beside you with a bag stock full of your favorite chips, candies, and sodas. "This help?" "Barry!" You sit up to hug him. "You're the best!"
