Picked up this plant stand from Aldi today. Totally loving it 😁

Can’t believe the difference on my beautiful croton in just one week! Look how big his baby leaf has gotten and not to mention the colours he is gaining! 😁

I bought this guy quite a few weeks ago already at this size producing flowers. I repotted him last week and cut off a few dead leaves underneath. There are a few more on their way out but I didn’t want to hack him up too bad.

Similar to my other crussula ovata, this guy has lighter curly leaves. I believe him to be the undulata variety. The trunk system is fairly similar and can grow bonsai like, which again is my goal for this guy just like my other crussula. This guy is actually two seperate plants joined together at their root system. My next step will be to remove and soak for 30 mins to an hour to loosen his roots as they too have compacted and aren’t allowing him to grow and absorb any nutrients. This happens sometimes due to under watering succulents. Their roots can become bound together and harden. This protects the plant but doesn’t kill them. They can still get enough water to stay alive and healthy, but their growth can become basically non-existent. I will update with progress pictures once I have completed my soaking process. ✌🏻

Soaked this bad boys roots for half an hour today, he was so compacted in his last pot that his roots were bound like concrete. His growth has been basically at a stand still because of that so now I’m hoping the soaking will boost his growth by increasing his intake of water and nutrients from the soil. These guys are so hardy I’m not too concerned about the oversized pot for him right now, but I will monitor him. My goal with this guy is to get him to grow into a big bonsai looking tree. My mum owns one that is magnificent. They are so easy to care for. Perfect for beginners 👌🏻

My euphorbia viguieri. Just repotted him today, he isn’t doing the best. Some yellowing on the leaves and not much growth since I bought him. I have opted for a shallower terracotta pot with some perlite. I made the mistake of putting him in a deep plastic pot, was hoping he would shoot right up but the potting mix along with the deep pot was holding way too much water so he just wasn’t happy. Hoping to see massive changes in him now. Will keep him posted. Such a gorgeous plant. He will bounce back ☺️🙌🏻
