Things I Like

Just came across an old picture, which I edited to reflect a distant memory. This was after a long day of riding with friends. I was younger and healthier, Life is so not fair. Riding motocross was my sole purpose in life. From the age of four to twenty five it's all I knew and all I wanted to do. One Saturday evening it was all taken away from me in a freak accident. Someone made a trap on a trail throwing me head first through the air... Completely crushing my c7 vertebrae leaving me with a lifetime of surgeries and chronic pain. This last year was the first time I've been to the gym in five years and it was taken away from me again after a car pulled out in front of me on the highway. Just can't catch a break. I wonder if there's a God, if so does he care about us at all?
