do y'all notice how most bylers want el's ending to be something like "she breaks up with mike on good terms and they stay close friends and she's reunited with max and spends a lot of time developing her relationship with her and the rest of her family and lives happily ever after <3" while most milevens want will's ending to be something like "he's rejected by the boy he's been in love with for years and then turns evil and dies. oh well"

The fact that Bylers are called delusional when Steve spent the whole season 4 convinced that Vickie likes girls, even when he found out she had a boyfriend, just because she paused Fast Times at 53 minutes and 5 seconds! And guess what? He was right! He only had one clue and believed it with all his heart! We, Bylers, have WAY more clues but we somehow are seen as being more delusional than Steve!

I literally think they wrote that for Steve to echo us Byler fans and how we notice all the smallest details about a gay ship. The Duffers know EXACTLY what they were doing with this...
