Fakemon turned original idea

Think of the concept as Pokemon but if it was more fantasy, and the battle system was more like a deck builder with more focus on the world/npcs.

Each 'area/zone' is based on a different time period and has a 'head witch' (name pending) who is in charge of that area. the island as a whole has a 'Sorcerer' who is in charge of keeping everything civil and keeping magic n stuff in check- but they.. disappeared. now everyone hates eachother.

you are AAAAALL witches (gender neutral) and you have familiars. most people just have one or two, but WITCHES have up to like.. 8 or 10- and can cast cool spells and enchant them with elemental magic and stuff to 'evolve them' and/or give them Sigils for special abilities

Send an Ask to get a Familiar

If you sent me an ask with a random prompt/personality trait I will assign you one or two familiars. It's a great excuse to draw/finish some of the familiars I have in my wips.

Alternatively you can also ask about the world/general lore if you want, i will p much always answer with art. There are three 'protagonists'- none of which have names as you get to name them in the theoretical game in my head.

The MC is the girl character, her friendly companion is enby, and they later meet a boy who serves more as the angry rival.

Choose your own adventure

There IS a choose your own adventure on here that's a few updates in. the MC is called Curie in that and I have not abandoned it, I simply am working on other projects, as this blog is more of a back.. back burner project- I mostly focus on Youtube and OC/comic stuff.

So like.. That'll pop up here and there on occasion.

you can add up to 8 familiars (currently) to your Deck, but must have at least one. for spells i'm thinking a Max of 10, and a min of 5.

Each familiar has a flat attack and a Flat heath and that's it! HOWEVER, you can add sigils with different abilities to Familiars with an open slot for one (not all have them. Single stage familiars tend to have more slots for them

Combat is based on a mana system. the actual flow of combat it'self is still being ironed out but my idea is that each familiar can attack with either of their types- or be used to channel spells. they can also attack in in front of them, or to the sides. Think of it like pokemon's triple battle mechanic.

attcking and casting spells costs mana, but you can earn mana by 'passing' a familiars turn, or you get some at the beginning of your turn each round. some spells also can be cast to give you some. The more YOU level up, the more mana pool you have, however, you spend your levels to evolve your familiars!

not featured in the hand, you can only have, i think, three cards in your hand- unless you return a familiar to your hand. the only penalty for having over three cards is that you can't draw new ones.

in the top left over there is your deck, running out of cards is how you loose battles, it's not ironed out super well yet aside from if an enemy attacks a black space they attack your deck and you discard the top card- i'm thinking if the top card is a familiar though it gets auto summon to the field, but 'weakened' (half health)

You can only cast SPELLS through familiars, but Items can be used without mana during the 'hand' phase- where you draw cards and summon familiars. I'm thinking on making it so you can only use one item per hand phase but i'm unsure for now!

I also like the idea that any Extra mana you have at the end of battle turns into gold, but we'll see- I might also have the mana carry over into the overworld. maybe undrawn cards can give you bonus gold.
