dcadlock:
Was he for real? Every time Jesse showed up, he made sure to cause a wreck – it almost felt like he had a lot of fun with it; with messing up with the Gang, with HER. One thing Ashe would never understand was why McCree liked to play with her like that. No matter how good of friends they were before, it’s over now.
‘ Oh, but I will make you understand you CAN. ‘ there he was, hiding from the powerful riffle shots directed to him, only paused for a moment as he took cover. One wrong step given by him, and the Deadlock would certainly aim to his head (yet, somehow, they were never really able to kill each other, in the end). ‘ I don’t really care ‘bout what you need, McCree. You already crossed the line today! ‘ her voice wasn’t as loud anymore, but she sure was serious. Crimson gaze attentive to any movement and sounds; this time it was just the two of them. And Ashe knew her ex-partner wasn’t someone to joke around with when it came to fighting.
‘ LAST CHANCE, MCCREE!!! ‘
what did he know about her? about them? nothing.
He’d never deny his ability to cause chaos in his wake, but he’d like to think he’s changed quite a bit since leaving this life behind. All of the loss and the pain left callouses across his body, molded him into a different man and yet, a part of him would always be the McCree she knew. That part would never stop caring for her.
❛ Guess I got a kind’a knack for doin’ that don’t I? ❜ He muses with a smile. He can’t help but smile at that, ❛ What will you do if I do give up? ❜ Jesse lifts his hands up out of cover for her to see. Revolver hung up by his finger, loosely dangling in the air as he gave up true control of it. McCree chances a slow stand, rising to his feet knowing the risk in such a display to a woman like Ashe. A risk he had to take.
❛ Set yours aside too and lets have a chat for once. I’d hate to let things get out’a hand all over again. ❜ His signature smirk stretches across his face. With a pounding heart Jesse’s on his feet, revolver remaining hung on his finger. ❛ What do ya say, for old time’s sake? ❜
