I grew up to be an adult with her guidance and advises, I always took her opinion in high regard because even if we never met, we were friends very very good friends. We both loved Tom Hiddleston and a good book.

A few months ago I tried to reach her, she replied to my mail explaining her situation and I was worried sick all the time as it was a health matter. I tried to reach her over and over again without success and today, I got the message that she’s gone.

I cannot write what I am feeling because she was a light in my life and nothing I write will ever ever do her justice.

I can’t tell how angry I am, because clearly cancer has finally reached me and took a very important person from me.

These had been the most popular I’ve seen among social media, and I would love to give my opinion about all of them.

1. Elain should end with Azriel

Of course we should traumatise another character who is already traumatised for the sake of your ship. I know SJM will probably go with “3 brothers, for 3 sisters” and honestly I am not against it, actually I do hope Elain AND Lucien reject the bond so they can be with whoever they want and be happy.

2. The bond is wrong

Yes, we know this can happen. Actually after the events in Crescent City 3 we know (SPOILER ALERT) the Asteri messed up the cauldron, so yes it’s a possibility. What is funny to me is that this card is only applied to Elain and Lucien but if anyone says Nesta and Cassian might be wrong too then Hell is raised. If you want to play a card everyone should be under that, not just the one you like.

3. Lucien did not help Feyre

To do what? Being down the Spring Court that happens to be his home for 50 years? Ruin Tamlin who is literally his best friend and saviour as he shielded Lucien from his family?

People love to say he and Tamlin sold the Archerons to Hybern but, did they? Because I remember reading “This was not part of the deal” so either they did not know about the kidnapping or it wasn’t even discussed that Feyre’s sisters would have anything to do with the events.

4. Elain is uncomfortable around him

Yes, and if I recall correctly he’s also very uncomfortable around her. He who loved Jesminda and saw her died at the hands d his family, he who saw how Feyre brought he down and entire territory due to…her beef with Tamlin.

Lucien doesn’t have a home, he’s alone in a Court he didn’t know existed “The children are laughing” he said while walking around Velaris, because Velaris isn’t known as the Night Court, Velaris is Rhys’ little secret and the Night Court has certain reputation associated with cruelty. How was Lucien gonna trust anything coming from the Night Court?

Elain is dealing with her own issues: Graysen, being fae, having premonitions…now having a mate but you want Lucien to be comfortable around traumatised girl who he has seen twice and has spoken to over 3 times, and I must say “supervised” because he can’t be trusted according to the IC.

BONUS

Please don’t make me mad saying nonsense such as “Lucien is not powerful, Azriel would wipe the floor with him” girl…are you reading the same book? Yes I know Azriel has six siphons for his magic but Lucien is the son of a woman who was picked to be a High Lord’s spouse due to the power in her bloodline and his biological father is a High Lord, not to mention he was trained as royalty in a court that is know for his force and tactics. Eris’ is know for being brutal do you really think Lucien was just sat around while living with his family?

Of course I want my foxboy to be happy, he deserves everything in this world because he lost love, home, friends, everything and people still love to make him a villain, which if he happens to be would be an amazing one.
