The girls from the academy were chasing him. Sasuke hadn't seen the Hyuga when he hid behind the flowery bush. She had definitely noticed him, but when the girls had asked her where had he gone, she had pointed to the opposite direction, away from his hiding spot. The small crowd howling his name vanished in the distance. He was still tense. But before he could react, the girl picked up her watering can and with a small bow she disappeared towards the shed, living Sasuke speachless in a bush of freshly watered lilacs.

"About time, asshole!" A soft giggle flutters to his ears. Sasuke's eyebrow twitches as his two teammates come into view, standing at their designated meeting point. Sakura looks untouched by the strife of morning ritual. Her hair is neatly laid, silky locks delicately curling towards her chin. Her crimson uniform is pressed and clean, a refreshing floral scent wafting towards him. She smiles radiantly. "Try not to be so late, Sasuke-kun. This bonehead has been chewing my ear off all morning about how you’re starting to get as bad as Kakashi-sensei." She jerks her thumb in the direction of the bonehead. By contrast, Naruto looks like he got dressed in the middle of a war zone, dust and debris from the battle still adorning his body. Sasuke's eyes meander to a small clump of rice that has found its way into the tangled fluff of his hair just northeast of his forehead protector. "Oi! Who are you calling 'bonehead'?!" With a grimace, Sasuke chides him, "Don't be so loud so early in the morning, idiot."
