this is pluto. as i was the only one who knew spi’s password and was given previous permission to login, I feel obligated to let you all know that our angel opal spiral meadows took their own life on Tuesday, April 16th.

opal was a beam of light. they saved my life and looked out for me the entire time i knew them. the world really let them down, and they deserved so much more support than they got. Opal’s favorite color was pink, their favorite berry was a salmon berry, and they liked to sit on my bed and eat handfuls of raw cilantro until I complained. opal made the longest playlist on YouTube of songs with gay lyrics. Opal was a proud non-binary autistic lesbian. Opal had so much love in their heart.

It’s so fucking hard to imagine life without them. I don’t even know what to do with myself but I know they would want me to continue on and spread their legacy of love and compassion. I love opal so so so much and opal also loved all of you so much!!! they genuinely cared about all of you being happy.

I know we haven’t posted here in a while, mostly due to life things. But I wanted to come here and post something about my friend Spiral. Or @raimijenner

Spiral passed away on Thursday. They sadly took their own life. I found out yesterday. And currently trying to process it.

I met spiral due to this community. They helped me with this blog when I was busy with school. They also became one of my closest friends.

Spiral was one of the sweetest people I had ever met. They loved people unconditionally and always supported me in whatever I was doing. They cared so much for this community, for abuse survivors, and lgbt youth. I’m going to miss them more than anything.

Please only be positive and nice regarding this. I know Spiral would say things about certain people. But they were a human being who had been through so much in their life. They were taken advantage of and abused by so many people. That all they wanted was for survivors of similar things to feel empowered and not scared to speak up. It was something I admired about them.
