Nathalia thinks for a moment, wondering if she really does have an extra tire ready in the back of her trunk if she were ever to be caught in the same, unpredictable situation that Faith finds herself in the moment. Nathalia, as of this second, can only believe that she does have an extra tire ready. Though, as someone who has never had to worry about such things, well⌠To put it frankly: Why would she start now? â⌠Mmm, letâs go with whichever answer makes you have all the more confidence in me.â The model winks at her friend playfully. âOf course you can charge your phone!â She exclaims in a tone that allows the other to know that she didnât even need to ask in the first place. "I have a charger in the car ready to be used at all times just in case. One time, I had no charge left after a rager in the middle of the desert, and the only way to get a ride back into town was to either send a code to your driver or wait until morning for a bus to pick you up. Obviously, I did not want to do the latter⌠Woefully, I had to because no one had a phone charger. Never. Again. Now? I bring a charger with me everywhere. Also, you can leave your keys on top of the front, right tire. The tow people are just around the corner.â She says, her eyes drifting from Faith to her phone as she was in contact with the person who was picking up Faithâs car. Nathalia waves a hand in dismissal before crossing the road back over to her own vehicle. âDonât even worry about it. Funnily enough, I was actually on my way to see you, anyway. This was good timing on all of our parts.â Nathalia grins because, mostly, it was just semi-bad luck on Faithâs end. âDuh. Of course I already know where we should go. When have I ever not had a plan for us?â Nathalia asks Faith rhetorically. When it came to herself, Nathalia never had a plan. She could walk aimlessly for hours on end with no destination in mind. But, it was different when she was with friends and family. She became a planning machine. She hated feeling like she was dragging people around for nothing. âI was thinking Iris & Eve. The rooftop has a stuning view.â And she liked the familiar territory. Nathalia closes her drivers door and turns to Faith to say casually, "By the way, Iâm thinking about hiring you.â The impish look in her eyes is hiding by the aviators she wears, but itâs not hiding by the way her brows rise and the smile thatâs being held on her lips. With that, she turns the key and on comes the engine.
Faith rolled her eyes, playfully, but also knowing what the true really was, especially with her evading an answer. âI have confidence in you, most timesâ she joked. She really did, actually even with all she knew about Nathalia and everything else, she did have confidence in her, to a point but it was always to a point with everyone. Still, it was a bit. Faith shook her head, breathing, âI know, I need to invest in more chargers, Iâm a mess. Especially with the amount of phone usage I actually do during the day, youâd think Iâd be better.â But she wasnât. âIâll invest in a car charrger and a couple portable, probably keep one in my purse and the other at work.â Faith nodded at the instruction, opening her car door to dip in and get her purse and double check if there was anything else she needed. The idea of putting her car key on the car nerved her but she trusted Nathalia and if the girl said the people were around the corner, then they were. She let out a small groan, her and hesitating to drop the key. She turned towards Nat, âwell then it really works out since I was on my way away from home, we have proper great timing, we wouldâve probably just missed each other.â Since again, her phone wasnât alive, she wouldnât have known either. Sounded like Nathalia to just show up at her place and whisk her away though, so even expecting a phone call mightâve been much. âIâve been meaning to go there soon enough.â Faith slipped into the car, doing her seatbelt before looking up to find Nat looking at her. Eyes squinting she tilted her head to the side, âwhat sticky situation do you need a lawyer for?â And why, why did Nat keep ending up in this situations. She leaned back against the seat, plugging her phone into the charger, âletâs change that, who is coming after you now and why?â And maybe, double check the people youâre surrounding yourself with. But Nat was an adult - an adult who sadly kept ending up in some compromising situations, but an adult nonetheless.
