harry doesn't sleep very well, never has, so while he is somewhat startled by the door to his cabin on the lost revenge opening, ready to attack should it be necessary, he's not woken by it. he turns, relaxing when he sees that it's just brynwyn standing in the doorway.

"hey, bryn," he says into the dark, his voice quiet. he's already moving over in his bed, holding the blanket up for them in invitation. "you okay?"

she doesn't know what led her out of the vague warmth of her blanket and into the cold of the isle's night, but it doesn't matter all that much when her feet carry her straight to harry's cabin. brynwyn doesn't even knock on the door — her and harry are far past knocking; they've been sneaking into each other's rooms in the middle of the night since they were wee 'uns who both snuck their way around his father's drunken stupors. almost as soon as the blanket is lifted, she's climbing into the bed. a hum leaves her, as she replies, " couldnae sleep. somethin' feels aff tonicht. so i have an obsidian vault to keep track of all mine and my friend's desendants muses and canon characters to keep track of how they're related to each other and how different families connect and i gave drizella and hans.... so many children. drizella took all the girls and hans took all the boys tho.

i also named all of hans brothers. for fun.
