[ It’s been nearly three months. Three months of trying — vainly — to be the hound his father so desperately wants him to be. To be the hound Damian so desperately wants himself to be.  It’s be tough, far tougher than he’d ever expected. Damian lets the warm water run down off his back as he showers, contemplating his next move. Finally, he comes to an agreement with himself: one week of being the puppy he really is. One week of quitting this facade, of actually being himself for once. If, after a week, nothing has changed, he’ll continue striving to be his father’s golden boy. If, after a week, something has changed … well, he’ll cross that bridge when he comes to it. He turns the water off and steps out of the shower, steam rising off his always-slightly-too-warm skin, and resists the urge to shake himself dry. Wrapping his towel around his waist and holding it with one hand, Damian begins to make his way back to his dorm when he sees someone up ahead. — if you dont start now youre never gonna start just say hi and be yourself cmoooooooooooon cmon cmon cmon cmon cmon cmon cmon cmon!!!!!!!!! — Well, here goes nothing — ]

[Lily's seen weirder things happen than someone losing their towel, but that doesn't make the sight any less amusing or interesting because boy. Cute, nearly naked boy.  She tries to stifle her amused giggle by pressing her lips together, absently licking them.]

[He gives in and grins openly as soon as the tip of her nose touched his own. He wastes no time closing the gap between their lips, pulling the rest of her towards him in a tender embrace.]

[There's a delighted little hum that leaves her once he takes it upon himself to close the distance between them, lips included. She finds herself a bit absorbed in it for a moment before he whispers against her lips. She gives a small grin, letting her hands find his, fingers lacing his own as she takes a step back, licking over her lips.]

Anyway, right… Well, I should be leaving… seeing as you’re probably just waiting for Finn and I really have no reason to be in here.

[He lifts a brow.] You’re… Lily, right? [Wilde’s expression softens somewhat because (as everyone knows) he’s terrible at dealing with any kind of sympathy directed towards him, especially when it comes to people he’s not all that familiar with. He honestly can’t even remember having ever spoken to her during their classes together.] 

Yeah, that's me! And you're Wilde. We've got Ailments and Healing and Drama together. You were kinda missed in Drama, mostly.

They did last year. [He looks over at her and smiles slightly, a playful gleam in his eyes]

[At his accusation, she bites her lip, trying to force back a smile but she fails.]

Well, Lily… [He spun her into his arms, laughtng]

[She squeals as he spins her, pirouetting out of his arms to do her own bit, though she soon finds herself taking his hands again with a beaming smile.]
