I still come here cuz honestly it’s a little less…public than instagram and twitter lol. That isn’t to say that the CIA and the illuminati aren’t tracking us here and all but it definitely is the less explosive platform now. And it’s a little quieter. I don’t gotta worry about like Chrissy Teigen quote tweeting something problematic I’m saying and get pipebombs mailed to my house after my address gets leaked. Other than that I’m a big big fan of long-form writing too, and i’m kiiiiiinda sad to see the last real social media adherent to that fall off so hard because of corporate neglect and censorship. Wordpress and Blogger are social media platforms that play nice with long-form writing but they just aren’t the same, and the kind of interaction you get on tumblr is one of a kind. I think the post-types thing and the way reblogging works is a very nice idea. It’s too bad the potential innovation got sucked out of it. When tumblr is over and done with I’m likely not gonna do the twitter clout chase even tho I should. I’m just gonna read my bara doujinshi in peace and get married…
