“omg she can talk” omg go fuck yourself
⋆ what “a girl’s girl” actually means to me ♡
someone asked me what this term actually means because it’s literally everywhere lately, and when i really thought about it i realized a lot of girls use it without fully knowing what they mean by it
which honestly makes sense, it kind of turned into one of those buzzwords online
this is just my opinion btw. not a rule, not a definition, not something everyone has to agree with. just how i see it and what feels right to me
for me, a girl’s girl is actually really simple
it’s just a girl who moves through life with basic care for other girls
not in a fake way, not in a “we all have to be best friends” way, just in a normal, grounded, human way
it usually shows up in really small things
being kind without expecting anything back
not switching personalities depending on who you’re around
not embarrassing another girl just to be funny or liked
being able to compliment someone without comparing yourself
keeping private things private
it’s less about what you say and way more about how you move
also important, because this always gets misunderstood
being a girl’s girl doesn’t mean you have to like everyone or be friends with every girl you meet
it just means you’re not actively making things colder or harder for no reason
and obviously there are things that are very clearly not that, like extreme obvious cases
flirting with your friend’s boyfriend and acting confused about why it’s wrong
publicly humiliating another girl and calling it honesty
bonding with people by tearing someone else down
treating girls nicely only when it benefits you
acting supportive online and cruel in private
i’m using extreme examples on purpose, because real life is way more subtle and messy than internet arguments make it seem
not everything needs to turn into a debate or a label
i also think a lot of girls aren’t like this not because they’re bad people, but because they’re insecure, guarded, or never really felt supported themselves
that doesn’t excuse hurting others, but it explains why this whole thing isn’t always black and white
for me it really comes down to one thing
i try to leave other girls feeling the same or better than before they interacted with me
not perfect, not saint-like, just intentional
and if that doesn’t work in every situation, that’s okay too. you’re allowed to protect yourself and still be kind where it actually counts ♡

⋆ things to do to feel put together without looking “done” ♡
this is for days when you don’t want to fully try but you also don’t want to feel messy or all over the place
feeling put together isn’t about makeup or outfits, it’s more about little things adding up
pick one thing and actually do it
not everything. just one. brushing your hair properly, lip balm, clean brows, a comfy but intentional outfit. one small effort already changes how the whole day feels
simple always looks calmer
nothing too tight, nothing too complicated. soft colors, easy layers, things you don’t have to think about. when your outfit feels calm, you do too
skin first, always
even no makeup looks better when your skin feels okay. moisturizer, lip balm, maybe a little concealer if you want. that’s enough
hair doesn’t need effort, just control
brushed and left alone, tied back neatly, clipped up. messy on purpose is fine, messy by accident just feels annoying
clean hands change everything
short nails, clean cuticles, even with no polish. this alone makes you feel way more put together than you expect
have one “you” thing
same earrings, same ring, same scent, same bag. repetition makes you feel consistent even on low effort days
don’t rush if you don’t have to
moving a little slower makes you feel more in control. rushing is what makes everything feel chaotic, not how you look
feeling put together isn’t about doing more. it’s about doing a few things on purpose and letting that be enough ♡

⋆ how to smell amazing 24/7 (real tips that actually work) ♡
this isn’t about drowning yourself in perfume or buying expensive stuff. smelling good all the time is mostly about layers and a few habits people forget about
start in the shower
your scent lasts longer when your skin is clean and hydrated. use a body wash that already smells good to you, warm or soft scents work best. don’t rush this part, fragrance sticks better when you actually let the product sit for a bit
moisturized skin holds scent
perfume fades fast on dry skin. always use a lotion or body cream, even a basic one. if it’s lightly scented, even better. this alone makes a huge difference
oil your pulse points lightly
a tiny bit of body oil on wrists, neck, behind ears before perfume helps lock the scent in. tiny means tiny, too much will do the opposite
apply perfume where it makes sense
neck, wrists, inside elbows, behind knees. one soft spray on clothes like a sweater or scarf helps too, just not delicate fabrics
hair scent matters more than you think
hair holds scent really well. either use a hair mist or spray perfume once onto your brush and then brush your hair. don’t spray directly onto hair, it can dry it out
don’t forget deodorant layering
pick a deodorant that doesn’t fight your perfume. clean, soft, or slightly sweet scents blend best. strong deodorant + strong perfume usually smells messy
your clothes carry scent too
wash clothes regularly, especially scarves, hoodies, and jackets. these hold smell the longest. fabric softener or scent beads help if you like them, just don’t overdo it
keep a mini scent with you
a small perfume, body mist, or scented hand cream in your bag is perfect for touch-ups. wrists and neck only, never re-spray everywhere
inside-out habits matter
drink water, eat regularly, and don’t skip hygiene basics. when your body feels balanced, your natural scent is softer and cleaner
smelling amazing isn’t about being loud. it’s about being soft, warm, and consistent. the kind of scent people notice when they’re close ♡
