at a certain point you've picked something apart to increasing levels of granularity for such an extended period of time that you're still working with the text like you're not in headcanon la la land but you're saying things that are beyond inscrutable to people who have not watched you go through the steps to get there over years. you and your three friends basically generate esoteric theoretical frameworks organically and then look insane when someone sticks their head in the door to your closet. so it becomes functionally impossible to talk about it in a public or semi-public forum. this is where i'm at with x/1999.
