Character Inspiration: Reunion Gowns Part I  |  Part II

Hermione | Granger, who avoided most of the Ministry galas that he’d hoped to see her at, was wearing a long ivory gown with a sheer gold overlay, and it was as dainty and soft as it was regal and stunning, and it was agonizingly difficult to look away.

Daphne |  … and then, of course, there was Daphne, exquisite in her dainty blue gown that seemed to whisper intimately around her curves, which Pansy could admit - begrudgingly, of course, but she could still admit it - made her easily the most beautiful girl in the room.

Luna | She was wearing her long blonde hair in a shimmering sheath down her back, and her dress, a soft, airy white gown that reminded him of a fairy princess from a muggle storybook, had a series of glittering birds sewn in around the shoulders.

Pansy | … surely Pansy, with her smooth, raven hair pulled back into an elegant french twist, was objectively the more striking between the two of them, wasn’t she?

Ginny | She was stunning, of course, as always; the dress itself was understated, but that only meant that she, with her gilded copper hair and her flawless, creamy skin, could not be outdone by something as foolish as fabric.

Well, I’ve drawn this piece below in May as a request for one of the blogs, but I wasn’t happy with it so I never posted it online (until now). Of course, they’re not just “old-ish” here, they are old, but idk it’s still somewhat close to what you’re asking I guess. There are a lot of things that I’d change, but I probably won’t because it’s not something I want to draw again :) At least not right now

For @faerose06, who wanted Harry and Gabrielle Delacour, meeting in France when Harry has to go there on Auror business. An instant attraction, a bit of mild peril, and a sprinkle of Ron Weasley…

I THINK this is originally attributed to user @marauders4evr: “I thought of this scenario where the Marauders wanted to find a loophole for the ‘No students out of bed at night’ rule. And I came to the conclusion that they would absolutely sit on their beds and levitate them throughout the corridors so that they were never actually technically out of bed.”

“Mr. Black, Mr. Potter, Mr. Lupin,” Professor McGonagall snapped, her brow furrowed as she eyed them suspiciously. “What are the three of you doing wandering the castle at this hour?”

They froze, turning slowly over their shoulders to gaze innocently at her, mouths agape for several seconds.

“I don’t know what you mean, Professor,” James ventured merrily. “I’m fairly certain we’re asleep.”

“Yes,” Sirius agreed, nodding. “You must be dreaming,” he assured her.

McGonagall glanced sharply at Remus, who merely rubbed wearily at his temple.

“You know the rules,” she admonished them, sighing in exasperation.

“Funny you should mention those,” James chimed in, ever the unrelenting ringleader. “I don’t suppose you’ve ever considered that they might be, in fact, too literal?”

“Please don’t,” Remus sighed, but he had learned rather quickly that there was no derailing a James Potter idea once it had taken root.
