instead of this, it is hannibal who says "you can go back home again. if there's any point. is there any point?" i took this line and the context around it ("when you look at her now, what do you see?") as implying that the reason for this is because his family has been ruined/tarnished by hannibal targeting them, thus making will's inability to go back to molly more about hannibal's antagonism than hannibal's love

(which are, in hannibal's mind, mostly one in the same, but im focusing on what we as the audience percieve as 'bad' [his 'antagonism'] vs what we perceive as 'good' [hannibal's love, stated outright], and how the the actual scene in the show highlights the 'bad', while the script highlights the 'good', if that makes sense?)

but in this script, it is DIRECTLY implied that the reason that will possibly can't return to his wife is because of his realization of hannibal's love and his possible reciprocation of that love. its not just because hannibal 'ruined' (changed?) his perception of his family, but because will prefers/is drawn to hannibal over his family
