He's a bassist, but specializes in all kinds of string instruments. He can even fiddle, if he can manage not to break the flimsy thing. She's a big teddy bear who loves flowers and butterflies. It's amazing anyone can even be afraid of him, but it happens when you're almost twice the size of the average stallion. He shares a love of music with his cousin, Jazz Apple, and they come together in a small band. He plays mostly rhythm, but doesn't really sing. He lets Jazz do vocals and follows his lead in most things. If maybe he'd take charge for once, everyone would know about his sweet singing voice. Fun facts: Bluegrass has a stutter. It really only comes up when he's nervous, but the more anxious he gets, Bluegrass likes to grow flowers, and has since he was a colt. He has a natural green hoof. It made it difficult for him to accept it wasn't his talent. Orville Peck may be the closest example of Bluegrass's singing (example www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR-4l5… ) Bluegrass has a jealous streak, and has a tendency to be overprotective for it.

While Mochi took after Bon Bon's talent, Cherry took after Lyra. Not on purpose so much as pressured into it. While it did end up being her talent, in a way, she still holds some resentment because she didn't really make the choice herself. Instead, she's determined to be the best. At least she has that choice. Her talent is really being able to take something that would sound bad, and turn it into something beautiful. Broken instruments, pieces deemed unplayable. Yet, she still tries to play just prestigious concertos, solos, and sonatas. She's good, but not the best. She'll never be the best. If she must be second, she'll attach herself to the very best and the most popular. She's besties with pop sensation Berry Tart, and has been since she was a filly. She helps write some of her back up music and has been her cohort in nastiness their whole lives. There's good in her, but only under a thick outer shell of mistrust. Fun Facts: When she was a filly, Cherry always dreamed of being a super spy. She never knew about Bon Bon's other identity. Cherry is very protective of her baby sister, even if she finds her annoying. She spends about two hours on her mane at a time, if she's going to be seen by others, but on manic practice days, she drops personal hygiene in the sake of music. She actively and openly has a crush on a certain Apple. They've had an on again off again relationship, mostly because he doesn't like her nastiness towards others

Cupid is the youngest of his siblings, and the only son. Though he wanted to be head of the Crystal Guard as a colt, after his sister Crystal Spear took up the mantle, Cupid didn't really have any ambitions. His only interests became mares of the court. And mares of the empire. And honestly any mare he set his sights on. He learned early on he had talents for winning over the hearts of those he sought after, and could even use that to help others find their loves. However, he's self absorbed, cocky, and narcissistic, so he doesn't even use his talent to it's fullest. His parents don't really know the stallion he's become, as he presents himself as modest towards them, but without agency. So, they've given him the title as Ambassador of the Crystal Empire. He enjoys being able to travel and meet all sorts of creatures, even if he does have a primary focus. There is someone with genuine love, though, under all that selfish brute. Fun Facts: Cupid is terrified of his sister, Crystal Spear. She could definitely destroy him. Cupid does find himself attracted to all genders, making him pansexual, but is only open about his feelings towards those presenting as female. Time and time again, Cupid has tried to be 'bros' with his """cousin""", Quasar. Quasar does not ever understand what's happening. Chestnut is Zephyr and Trender's only biological child, and baby sister to Licorice Whip, and has a baby attitude to go with it. She's hedonistic and relaxed, but wasn't always that way. As a filly, Chestnut was always naturally chubby. With two beanpoles as fathers, this was always something that weighed on her self esteem. At a young age, Chestnut wanted to be active and sporty, with a big idea of being a cheerleader. She worked and worked and worked, to the point of exhaustion. When her dads made a point to be there for her and intervene in this behavior, it really hit her that this wasn't what she wanted. She wanted to want it. So she pivoted. Food made her happy, and there wasn't anything wrong with that. So what if she were bigger than the average filly? She liked how she felt when she relaxed herself. Eventually, she just became very indulgent. She stopped caring about her looks, namely her mane, much to Zephyr's dismay. The two fought so much about it, as a teen, she just chopped it off and dyed it. Yup, Chestnut had a punk phase. Now, she's still a decadent, and her talent is competitive eating. Near like a snake that can unhinge it's jaw, she can eat enough for a family of ponies, all by her lonesome. Fun Facts: Even though she's dropped it, Chestnut still remembers a good number of cheer routines As teens, Chestnut and Hardcore briefly dated. They have an.... odd relationship now. Even though she's a pegasus, Ches rarely flies and mostly just uses her wings for gestures (frequently obscene ones) While she doesn't always wear them, Chestnut still has all her piercings from her punk phase. She just usually keeps in clear spacers.
