Aeron was walking down the mountain towards the river to follow it. It was still a distance away from the Academy as it sat on the grand hill. He had a limited amount of time to spend when he's not headmaster mode so looking for more herbs for Ashton's nerves made him more determined. He looked around ground, leaning over to pluck flowers here and there as well as leaves that could help.
His senses suddenly flared up, a heat gathering the back of his nape. A warning. He was being hunted. He jumped to the side in time as a clawed hand swiped down, tearing the tree apart horridly. He turned to the attacker to see a man before him. Long white hair that seems to capture the light from the moon as glowing gold orbs turned towards him.
It dawned on him quickly - this wasn't a man. He can feel the divinity radiating from him and it made him grit his teeth painfully.
"Finally, I found you." The kami spoke, turning completely to face Aeron. "You were behind a shield for a long time.."
"... I don't know how you were raised but couldn't you have said hello instead of attacking?" Gods weren't new to Aeron. He's been in the presence with many and other creatures and not once he was afraid of them. He clenched his fists as he stood his ground. "I don't know you. Why did you attack me?"
"You command answers?" He stepped out from the shade of the canopy towards Aeron. The kami's presence was strong and it certainly stirred something in the witch. Something uncomfortable. Like a force to make him follow commands. "I sense an unsanctioned contract and there I must liberate."
"Lib--?" Aeron's eyes widen as the form leaped towards him swiftly. He rose his arms as claws went for his throat. His sleeves and flesh tear as if they were paper, knocking him down onto his back. He looked up as the warmth spreads on his arms as blood soaks into fabric. "Witch, you bare dark powers and enforced servitude on proud beasts. You must die." The kami steps forward and vines began to wrap around his ankle, but it wasn't enough. He broke free cleaved the growing of the bindings.
Aeron got up quickly and made a run for it towards the Academy in hopes the barrier will hold him out. If he can make it there. It seems he learned the hard way that he wasn't the quicker one in this conflict as a white blurr went pass him to intervene. A clawed hand grasping his neck, feeling the bite of claws as Aeron can feel his body being lifted off the ground. Death didn't scare him. He's died multiple times for another's dark plans. He'll go down bringing another he he can. The witch reached his hands up to grip tightly around the white-haired kami's forearms, growling.
He can feel his canines enlonging and nails extended in sharp points. The pupils sharper. Golden orbs darken as they peered into his as the Kami growls in return. Something truly dangerous was happening, even made a god's skin crawl. Aeron's hand was held out, gathering dark energy into his palm before throwing it into the ground with force. He felt the hand let go, willingly allowing him to be dropped as the deity leaped back as a orb of dark ripped apart the earth and air.
A gunt left Aeron as he landed onto his side, turning to get on his knees to get eyes on the other.
"You hold the appearance of a beast you have claimed.. How insulting." The being glared daggers at him and the air shifted like a heat wave.
Aeron's eyes widen, pupils darkening as something surrounded him. It was getting hard to air into his lungs and the surroundings were practically spinning. He coughed violently and heaved. This wasn't like any pheromones he felt before and it wasn't letting him breathe at all. Desperately, he gathered the blood from his injury and created a blood sword. He strikes out to slice into flesh but flesh he didn't met.
Kyogetsu caught the wrist and kneels down. "How does it feel to have a master, mortal?" The kami's eyes widen and he would look to the side quickly as a invisible force barreled towards him, nearly knocking him over. A snarl echoed in the forest and the kami landed on the other side of the river, looking at the shimmering hellhound. Rage disappeared and replaced with a solemn look. "You have enforced servitude of a hound of Annwn."
The beast snarls as standing guard in from of Aeron's body was a dark furred canine with glowing red eyes. He frowned. "You don't need to protect your slaver. I'm here to break the contract."
Aeron whimpers in discomfort, looking up to see his hound in a protective stance.
"Don't be concerned for our business, god." The hound spoke in mortal tongue as he shifted where he stood. "This boy is no slaver nor he was the one that forced the contract." He circled around Aeron's pronned form to stand over him, closely protecting the witch's jugular.
The kami's eyes narrowed dangerously as if trying to pick apart the words to find truths or lies. "So you are friends with this witch? Do you not miss your realm?"
He laughed, almost quite mockingly. "Friends? No. Not even familial. I'm his weapon, his shield. And I must say, it's been quite fun being at his side. As for Annwn..." His eyes darken with cruel intent. "I have no love for them."
Kyogetsu's eyes widen slightly in surprise at the reveal. The cruelity was easier to pick up on than lies and truth.. It was genuine hatred for his kin. The solemn expression soften, becoming something neutral. "I see..." He looked at Aeron as he inhaled subtly, pulling back his aura.
Aeron gasp as he intook air into his lungs to a point it burned. He choked on the air as he breathed heavily. He felt a nudge against the side of his face, glancing at the hound above him. He started to sit up, pushing the hound to the side, nearly losing balance as his came back from nearly dying of suffocation.
"It seems I've made a grave error." The kami turned, glancing up towards the sky as the light in his hair became noticeable.
"Are you seriously going to leave without giving your name?" Aeron strained.
He looked over his shoulder to look back at the two. "..... You.. can simply refer to me as the wolf king." Kyogetsu's body filled with light before becoming a orb - and floated away.
Aeron rolled his eyes before closing his eyes, hunching over slightly. "Damn gods..."
