I felt stuff sometimes.

It's been a little while! Experienced a loss in the family, so I've been a bit down lately. Also going through the "fun" of getting ready to move in the nearish future. Beh! I had planned on doing something entirely different, but those plans fell through due to the above and me not being able to find good pictures/references. It's fine though, cause this little chao was fun to focus on, and the end result makes me smile. Look at how smug he is! Many thanks to a couple of tumblr people that gave me ideas for the chao. (If I asked you about chaos, or you left a comment on my chao post, then you know who you are.) ;)

Happy egg day! (Or whatever day.) ^^b I only just discovered Rabbids... two weeks ago? So of course I had to drop everything I was doing to rush and make this on time. It's a little rough looking (I was up way too late a few nights), but everyone loves/hates it, so I think it's a hit. Also, no idea how this guy manages to stand by himself. I'm absolutely baffled.

Hehe, butt. This looks so wrong, but you just got to trust the process. ;)

It's my needle felting anniversary month! ^o^ I don't know where to begin with Piwi. I absolutely feel Anne's frustration with him now. I thought throwing him together would be so fast and easy - I was wrong! Nothing seemed to go right. That said, I was trying some new techniques and working with wired feet for the first time, so it was a lot of learning. (Had to redo the feet completely because the first time I didn't do them well enough and they were too wobbly/weak.) I'm honestly not sure how I feel about the outcome? I think he's growing on me now that I'm done? I guess I don't regret making him cause I learned a lot and I really wanted to show some love for Helck.

A speed experiment to test out a few things. Took me only five hours to throw together. I wanted to try out some glue to make spikes, but I wasn't happy with the two types of glue I tried. Going to have to look for something else. Which do you like more? The open eye or the more anime-winky eye? I'm thinking I should make the open eye a tad bigger? Totally just a normal pink hedgehog. Might make her some bracelets later. Or a hammer. :P

I've been sick with a cold for a solid week now (finally starting to feel better at least), but I wanted to thank everyone for the likes and wish you all a Happy New Year. :) My resolution last year was to walk more, read more, and learn a craft, and that's how I ended up needle felting (and making my first ever social media thing - this tumblr blog). Honestly, I think all these things really helped my sanity this year - it's been a rough one. I didn't think needle felting would push me this direction, but I'm really glad it did. Here's to hopefully many new felting projects in the future!
