Ravel ended up as head boy

Ghastly got deputy 

In all honesty, no one was that surprised when China got head girl 

But when Mist got deputy 

Well, no one saw that coming 

All the teachers fear Skulduggery and Valkyrie

In fact, there are several classes where they’re not allowed to sit next to each other 

Science, for instance  

They didn’t mean to fill the classroom with toxic gas 

Guild has banned them, too 

That doesn’t mean they listen 

Hopeless is the only one with a reliable pencil case 

Dexter always forgets his 

Larrikin’s is filled with lollies 

Shudder’s is broken and he can’t be screwed to fix it 

Skulduggery only has one pen 

And he keeps taking it apart

Ravel has 20 pens, 15 pencils and an eraser 

But only two pens work, the pencils are broken and the eraser doesn’t work

Ghastly’s is just filled with highlighters and felt-tip pens and tailor’s chalk

Valkyrie lost her’s back in term 1 and never saw a reason to get another 

Tanith only has a pencil that she keeps behind her ear

Fletcher has a collection of highlighters, and that’s about it 

China has a decent pencil case with decent stationary

I feel like at the moment, this fandom is less like it was when I joined and is more ‘everyone hates everyone else and nobody reblogs anything ever’. I’m not trying to make this about anything or start discourse or whatever the fuck, and I hate to be that guy that’s like ‘can’t we all just get along?’ But honestly??? Everyone is just so negative all the time, and nobody likes Derek Landy (which I certainly get). People hate the new books, the new characters and everybody else in the fandom. It’s no longer a community where we talk about this series we love because so few people love it now that phase two has started. I feel like in a way, we’ve all sort of become like val; cynical and resentful of this series. I say we, because while some of this is based on your reactions to phase two, it’s also based on my own. I’m not enjoying them either. I don’t like Derek Landy, and I’m certainly not a fan of his (much younger!!) girlfriend after that twitter disaster. That said, I’m obviously not 100% certain about the general state of things, because as much as I’d like to talk to people, I don’t. I sort of tend to keep to myself most of the time and occasionally post memes or whatever. This isn’t because I don’t like people on here, it’s literally just because I’m a bit awkward. Anyway, I digress. TL;DR, I agree with a lot of your thoughts on phase two. I just feel like everyone hates each other a bit which is not a great vibe, and I miss the sense of community that used to be here.

If you have any thoughts on this, please share them. I have no intention of arguing with anyone and I will quite happily listen to your thoughts on this. In fact, I think it’s good to hear all points of view. If you do want to share thoughts, I would really appreciate if everyone could be respectful and not lash out. I know that people might be defensive and that I am putting this out here at my own risk, but again: I’m willing to listen if I’ve misunderstood anything.

I have to admit, I’ve never felt more unmotivated in a fandom than I have in sp, because unless you don’t post the right things, your content is largely ignored.

And yeah, then the constant posts about how there isn’t enough content just make me feel shittier because it seems like my content isn’t good enough to be considered as content.

The only times I’ve gotten massive reblogs/likes on a post is either on some shitty text posts I put together in 5 seconds or when I do lame ass aesthetics for the dead man/good guys which aren’t even interesting.

Stopped writing right before they got down to fucking and I doubt I’ll finish this anytime soon if at all bc I ain’t good at writing smut.

looks at his SO as if they are the world to them

remains calm even if if his SO becomes hysterical and will give his best to gently calm them down

he’s a very good listener, which makes him insanely good at getting his SO the perfect present without them even having to tell him what they want

when his SO rants to him his first reflex is trying to fix what upsets them (and his SO will have to tell him “no, it’s ok, you don’t have to fix it, you just listening is helping me enough”)

tho he is also happy to just spend a calm evening with his SO at home, cuddled together on the couch (beard scratches are optimal)
