Risky Business || fabledlabyrinth
prxtean:
Michael seemed a bit less invested in what held them, but he still showed a polite smile. Even though the action didn’t reach his eyes.
“Did you bring your weapons? When we arrive, it’ll be quite the fight and I’m not sure you want to depend on just your abilities for this.” Michael warned.
Seb had a pistol tucked to the back of his waistband he reached for it holding it up quietly like a child waiting for his parents approval. Eli crossed his arms at first rolling his eyes at Seb’s usual obedience then took a dagger etched with writing from his own waistband.
“We dont prefer weapons Michael, but we have come prepared.”
Eli told him impatiently.
Risky Business || fabledlabyrinth
prxtean:
Michael prepared himself for this moment long enough. Tracking demons wasn’t a job he performed lately, but the last few weeks were an exception. From the attacks in people’s homes and aggressive acts in public, there were many reasons to pick it back up.
Sword in one hand and an enchanted gun in the other, Michael was sure he would find them. Especially with Eli and Seb. They were trustworthy and responsible enough to pull such a plan off.
“You would’ve loved this, Freya.” He whispered to himself.
The Davenport boys bickered back and fourth before transporting their way to Michael. Eli as always overzealous, while Seb preferred a more tactical route. Two extremes on either side of the spectrum.
“Michael!”
Eli exclaimed walking toward the higher-up, his hair neatly combed while Seb stood behind him looking like his usual mess.
“I apologize for our tardiness, I was unable to find my-”
“Hair gel.” Sebrael interrupted pushing past his brother and joining Michael’s side. “We are ready now nonetheless.”
Recovery || Ava & Milo
Ava nodded then leaned forward, hands on his shoulders pushing him to his back. She lowered herself pressing her lips to his gently as she straddled him. Slowly she rocked her hips grinding herself against his groin.
Recovery || Ava & Milo
prxtean:
Milo left a trail of kisses beneath her navel and pulled his mouth away. The lasting scent of her lasting on his lips, even when he licked them.
“Tell me when you’re ready.” He ordered.
It took her a moment to realize what he meant but when she did her hide went wide and her gaze settled up at the ceiling. Biting her lip she nodded.
“Okay...I...am ready.”

Recovery || Ava & Milo
“Hnnnnn….”
She groaned as soon as his tongue touched her. The angel arched her back and clenched her jaw. Anticipation trickling down her, so eager to have him inside her—but just the same terrified.
“Your hands—feel like heaven Milo.”
She gasped breathlessly watching him with an innocence that would never leave her.
Milo repeated the actions with his tongue, dragging guys fingers along her stomach. He lifted her thigh without a second thought. The image of his head between her legs only as tantalizing as his eyes met hers.
How he lived for watching her reactions and unsteady breaths. The pleading in her tone. She was heaven in every way.
Another smooth hum resonated from her closed lips as she slipped her hand beneath her shirt and massaged her breast. Opening her eyes she could not help but blush as they made eye contact. His messy curls between her legs...and those eyes. Then the butterflies began and suddenly she was shaking stricken with an overwhelming sense of shyness. Biting her lip she kept herself quiet watching him closely wishing it would last forever—that THEY would last forever.
Empathy || Ava & Janie
Janie’s eyes read every conflicting emotion she felt listening to her. She reached for Ava’s hand.
“We all have responsibilities in this world. Yours, a little more pressing than the average person’s. But you can’t possibly think what has been done is a reminder. You can’t think that way, it’s only gonna make your recovery worse,” Janie sniffled and wiped her tears dismissively.
“Later on, you’ll be living you’re life and something will happen. An event you couldn’t have avoided. Then you’ll start to think up all these lies that there was something you did or could’ve done to avoid it. There’s this ‘Invincible Theory’; a common supernatural thought process where you believe because of whatever your species is, you’re immune to certain things. It leads to the reckless thought of ‘I can never be hurt’,”
“Now, not everyone deals with this thought, its even worse for victims. It’s worse in our case. My point is… you can’t take the blame for someone else’s abuse. You may have been off task as most of us are when we’re given a heavy task… but rape didn’t correlate to your task. That’s like a chef trying to cook for a homeless shelter and feed as many mouths as possible; he gets killed by a hungry derelict he never met. Was it his fault he got murdered because he never got the chance to feed him?”
Ava allowed her hand to lay limp within Janie’s as she listened to the shewolf’s words. The angel knew ultimately what the other spoke was the truth but for some reason to accept responsibility seemed an easier route. Ava didn’t like to believe such evil existed. Her way of coping involved turning a negative into a positive and keeping control. There was control in blaming herself…and some how it seemed the more positive to think of this as a lesson rather than an assault. A web of lies—but Janie spoke the truth.
“I don’t want to think there is such wrong in the world.”
She finally admitted.
“I’ll never want to leave the house. I’ll end up running back home.”
“This world can be beautiful. Enchanting to some. You can meet a stranger with a heart of gold and lovely smile. You can fall in love even,” She laughed.
“But there are negative things in this world– negative people in this world, who live to hurt and destroy. People like your attacker and my parents… who thrive off the idea of hurting someone. Just cause. It’s how it is.”
Ava’s gaze fell as she pondered Janie’s words. She brought her feet up and rested her chin upon her knees.
“Love is such a weird word coming from this realm.”
The angel admitted then ran her fingers through her hair.
“I don’t know that I believe love can exist with that sort of evil right around the corner.”
Janie lifted her head from hands. “Coexisting makes the world go ‘round. Good and evil were made to create balance in the world. As above, so below.”
The angel pressed her lips to a thin and let out a sigh through her nose.
"I try to be positive—I do. It feels like a lie that's becoming harder and harder to continue telling. I don't know that I have what it takes to stay here any longer."
She pinched the bridge of her nose as the confession came from her lips.
"I may leave."

Recovery || Ava & Milo
She gasped at the sudden switch in positions. His lips against her skin causing a tingling sensation to trickle down her spine washing away the fiery grip she now associated with sex. She smiled looking down at him…how good his skin felt against hers. She opened her mouth to say something—but resisted the desire to tell him how much she loved him. Enough talking.
She kept her hand in her panties, caressing herself then slipping a finger in. Her eyes wide watching Milo. He was challenging her, and she would challenge back. Sliding her fingers back out of her shorts she stuck her index finger in her mouth sucking her juices from her skin. Her face flushed as she did so.
“Aren’t I misbehaving? How does that make you feel Milo?”
“Feels like someone is gonna lose their privilege to orgasm.” He muttered.
The wolf gripped her legs as he kissed over her panties. His thumb rubbed over her clit, feeling how wet she was, he moaned audibly.
“God, I missed this.”
Eyes falling shut with the contact his thumb made Ava sighed contently. She bit her lip arching her back slightly and gripped the sheets in anticipation.
"I—I didn't mean to deprive you."
She told him almost apologetically, she opened a single eye peaking at him between her legs.

Empathy || Ava & Janie
There was a hesitation in her demeanor as she looked away.
“Sometimes it burns.”
She whispered.
“There’s nothing like a demons grip on sacred skin. It was like fire…”
Ava rubbed her face exhaustedly.
“I think nighttime is the worst. I can’t sleep with my bedroom door open anymore.”
“I can’t tell you nor will Michael advise you on which habits you’ll drop. Time heals wounds, but the scars are still there.” Janie looked back to Ava.
The conversation left exhausted Janie’s tone; her voice sounded monotoned and restrained. She felt a bit dizzy knowing the torture happened to someone else. She could deal with it just being her, but an angel? Of course a demon would be her attacker though it left a bad taste in her mouth. That demon would’ve been a masochist.
“I don’t mean to sound like a downer, but I want to be honest. Rape isn’t like any other kind of attack… it sticks with you for the rest of your life,” Janie’s voice shook, “What makes it worse is that no one can really empathize with you about your experience. It’s just so fucked up that you had to deal with this.”
Ava moved toward Janie and sat beside her. She placed a hand to the wolfs back and gently patted circles around her shoulders.
“We do not have to talk about this of you do not wish. Your support means the world to me Janie but I do not want to cause you discomfort. What happened to me could have been avoided. I had lost track of my path here on earth. My assault was a reminder. What happened to you was a tragedy. I have accepted my punishment. I am living with the result of my own irresponsibility.”
She straightened. There was something wrong about the way Ava worded her response. Janie shook her head from the confusion.
“No, I’m fine. Are you? You don’t deserve anymore of this than I did. A punishment is a parent telling a child to go to his room– maybe if your attacker did so much as fight or rob you then that can be taken as a reminder. Not this.”
"My purpose here is to diminish the demon population. To keep them from harming mankind. I was...distracted and my focus was not on my mission."
Pursing her lips the angel forced a smile and nodded as if agreeing with her own words.
"I will find a way through this Janie. To accept responsibility is my key."

She stopped what she was doing and looked at him.
“What?”
“Are you okay? You do remember our safe word right?” He asked.
A small nod came from her. She touched his cheek lightly and smiled.
“I’m okay Milo. I think—I need this.”
She breathed and lowered herself to place a kiss to his lips.
“I hate that the last person so have…been with me was…him. I want to erase it.”
He smiled, shaking his head. Milo aimed for a longer kiss as he hooked his finger into the waistband of her shorts.
“I want nothing but the best for you, so I worry,” Milo explained further, “Right now… I am a bit concerned about how long these shorts lasted on you.”
"Mmmm"
She hummed.
"I was thinking the same thing...thought maybe you might have lost your touch."
The angel challenged playfully.
"Or do I have to be the one to satisfy myself?"
She asked snaking her hand past his and playing with herself beneath her panties teasing the wolf.
"Maybe I don't even need you..."
She poked again hoping to gage some sort of reaction.
