I'll keep this brief to spare anyone else currently distressed by world events at the moment.

Let's begin with the bad: Through no fault of our own, my partner and I have been evicted. It’s very difficult to find a place to stay at the moment thanks to a recent outbreak of COVID and a supposedly-incoming market/economic crash. Thankfully, my partner’s parents are very family-oriented and we all had a large discussion about the situation. We decided that the best solution for everyone is for my partner and I to move in with his parents. The moving process has been draining and stressful and has taken quite the toll on my creative process. Art will be slow for a while. I will contact clients ASAP if this move seems to mean I cannot make my usual deadline.

The good: My partner's parents live fairly isolated out in the country. This means our potential exposure to COVID will be very low. It should be quiet, quaint, and hopefully low-stress...and I'm hoping that will make it easier to get back into the groove of creating regularly. There will also be more space for mess and projects, which might mean more opportunities for physical art!
