Apparently, you get arrested for saying something "mean" about cops on fb. Since you have allowed the government to be armed better than the people, the people have little chance of protecting themselves when the government doesn't like what the people have to say. Lawsuits don't matter. Taxpayers pay twice during litigation because qualified immunity and judicial preference let cops keep their jobs if they win cases against the government.

Anonymous voting is the problem. If you can't prove who you voted for, or if you even voted, then why wouldn't the government do what it wants?

What's the best way to control the people? You threaten them with divine judgment if you violate religious law.
