So a few weeks back we took a look at the baby Tahiti card, the HD 7870 XT ... you know the card that should have been called the 7930? Well one of the questions that cropped up when talking to you lot regarded how it compares in late 2017 to the budget darling.. The GTX 1050 ti. I think it's fair to say that when it comes to the 1050ti I gave it a pretty hard time, especially at the start of the year where the high prices just felt at odds with both the cut down pascal architecture and compared with the used prices of higher end last gen cards like the GTX 970 and R9 280X. Sure it performed, but there was always the feeling nvidia priced the card higher than needs be. But then the crypto currency boom happened, AMD card prices skyrocketed and the 1050 ti in a complete twist of events became the poster child for value performance. SO it's time to blow off the cobwebs from my own 1050 ti and see if the baby tahiti LE gpu nestling in the 2GB 7870 XT put up a fight

Cheap RGB Fans? Are they worth it? Today we are taking a look at Raijintek's Aura 12 RGB 3 pack. A kit that retails for under £30 here in the UK and offers something that a lot of PC builders are crying out for. RGB Fans at a value price. Sub £30 for 3 high quality 120mm fans is a good deal in anyones books so the addition of RGB is a nice touch and for those that dont want colour cylcing, they can be locked to a specific colour to match any theme you decide to build on. overall, i've been impressed by this kit, its high quality and even better, good value.... and being Scottish... thats always a selling point! https://www.overclockers.co.uk/raijin... So Ryzen has finally landed and for those of you that have only a passing interest in technology or simply look at cold hard graphs it can be quite confusing to decipher if it's actually any good! I'm sure you have seen the multiple websites which  Seem to paint a picture of failure, of disappointment amongst buyers and of yet another mis-hit from AMD. So what's actually going on?

Hey folks, today we are saying farewell to my HD5850 by testing it out on Crysis 3 This is the GPU I bought in a fairly poor state and refurbished it into a bargain little game player. but as ever... the question still remains "BUT CAN IT RUN CRYSIS 3?!" Spoiler: Yes. Rather well.
