Dear Diary,

Blah blah blah, whatever he was saying, I listened, but most of it was banter about the cases he got and all his false leads. Oh god, he looked so beautiful. Satan, oh what a charm you have. His beautiful golden locks, his extremely bright green eyes. He wore a brown stereotypical 1900s detective suit, probably green underwear underneath. No, my mind shouldn't think such inappropriate thoughts, especially about his tighty, uh, tighty-greenies?

"And when I got to the scene, BOOM, nothing. Absolutely nothing, I searched all over the place and I still didn't find anything. Or maybe the co-ordinates have to do something? Questions... Questions..." He blabbered, pulling out his whiteboard and a marker as he wrote the location, and tapped the wrong side of the marker on his chin. "Shit." "Oh let me." I say, I smile and wipe his chin with a tissue, maintaining full eye contact.

"You're a sweetheart, MC, I have no idea what I would do without you." He fucking missed it, again. He has no clue how long I have been trying to hit on him, twirling my hair, licking crumbs on his lips, FORCED hand touches and for the love of Diavolo (shoutout to him), HE DOESN'T SEE IT. How oblivious can a detective be??? And the best one in the whole Devildom, by the way.

I have to try harder, I cannot give up.

Dear Diary,

He solved his case, hurray! Going from no clues to solving the whole heist, that was Satan, that was my smarty pants, that's the man I love, and also, the most stupid man I have ever seen.

He wants to take a break, I will not be letting him take a break. I have a plan, the best plan, uh, I hope so.

I will start with stealing his stuff, he will never suspect me anyway, he likes me, I know he does, and I do too! But he is too stupid to know that! How does this even happen?? Okay, I need to stop ranting about how this guy breaks every rules of existing or else, me and you both diary, will go batshit insane.

NEXT STEP, I will start leaving threats. And I know, what the fuck MC? Just hear me out, threats make him more interested, and he will realize that someone is stealing his stuff and its not magically disappearing, 2 day long plan by the way.

Morning, his glasses are gone. Afternoon, almost everything in his room is gone. Evening, threats; such as "you are um.." I haven't thought of threats but I will. Night, he is spiraling and I, the love of his life (hopefully), will be beside him.

Morning, "meet me at the park in your finest clothing at 5 pm." And boom, he will see me, and I will ask him out.

That's a plan. Hardest part will be holding my laughter watching him be confused. He will probably make that pouty face as he looks at me and then suddenly be filled with motivation to solve this.

Lets go diary, plan in motion!

"Hey MC, have you seen my glasses?"

"Nope."

"Okay."

Satan looked around, scratching his head. MC let out a smirk when he turned his face away. "Do you need glasses anyway?" "Well, it helps me see a little bit better. Just a slight power." He shrugged and walked off. MC went to make some coffee for the both of them. Satan, in old fashion, read a newspaper. Just give him a cigarette and a mustache and he might just be Hercule Poirot.

They handed him his coffee and he smiled sweetly, they just held their eye contact. "I-I'll be uh, going out for a while..." He broke their eye-contact. It was a plan that worked perfectly in their favor. "Sure, I'll just lay around, I am a little tired today." They sat beside him.

As soon as he left, MC ran to his room, 50% of his mostly uncursed books, GONE (in their room but imagine this in Satan's perspective). His secret stuff in his drawers, also gone. It took a lot of time but, it was all worth it. All left was to print the notes, in no way they were going to write those by hand, he'll figure it out quick. That won't be too bad but explaining it would be awkward.

"I am back." Satan hugged MC from behind. They almost jumped 10 feet into the sky. "Heyy... man don't do that I got scared..." They were trying, please excuse them. He giggled and kissed their neck. Bold move there. He whispered he is going back to his room and MC sighed for a moment before walking behind him.

He gently opened the door.

"No like, how can this... what? It doesn't make sense. You were also here..." He sat on his bed, in disbelief, they felt a little guilt, so hugging him from behind was the only option. "I spent years, most of my life actually, collecting all these books and..." he choked on his words. "Let's look around the house, it might be your brothers." MC suggested, they didn't mind getting caught now. Satan sniffed and rubbed his eyes. "Okay..."

And then they went to the first suspect, Mammon. "Hol' up? YOU CAME TO ME FIRST?! WHY WOULD I SELL YOUR BOOKS?!"

"He sounds defensive, let's check his room." Satan stood by the door as MC was in front of him, holding a paper and jotting down notes. "Sure, worth a try."

"Mammon, why do you have a shovel under your bed?"

"None of ya business!"

"Mammon, please do your laundry, your clothes stink."

"Shut up!"

"Wow he really doesn't have it." Satan sighed, and MC crossed his name off the list. "Next up, why did you put Lucifer?" "He will never do something like this but... I want to get some information from his room. And besides, the most unassuming people are usually the perpetrators." MC was never more scared for their life.

"Satan, what do you think you'll get from my room? You know I don't have your books."

"Tsk."

"I think he wanted to know if you and Diavolo are-"

"MC!"

Lucifer's name, crossed.

"Beel, you ate it." Satan accused.

"What?" If you think you have seen a confused Beel, this is a more confused Beel.

"Well someone stole Satan's books."

"I didn't eat it."

"I trust him." MC nodded.

Beel, crossed.

Belphie didn't respond, he was sleeping, so they searched his room, nothing except a photo of baby Lucifer, cute but angsty.

Crossed.

"Eh??? I have been in my room for The Time I Found a Loophole in my Favorite Game so I Investigated it and Accidently Ended up Inside the Game's 50th anniversary event. It adds so much to the lo-"

*Insert door shutting noises.*

"Not him."

"Not him."

Levi, crossed.

"Me? Why would I, out of all people do such a thing? You should go check with Mammon!"

"Asmo, we are not blaming you. We just want to know your exact location, your activity, your alibis for approximately 10 am."

"You know, my dear brother and my sweet pie, I am offended you accuse me like that. BUT, I can give you this." He handed them MC's sticky note, "first its your glasses, then its your books, next, its going to be you."

"Oh shit. Satan how do we feel about that."

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! WHO WOULD DARE THREATEN ME?!" Satan roared, his room was fully thrashed, he was in his demon form, and he was pretty mad. He sighed and climbed into MC's lap, nuzzling his head into their neck. "What do I do?..." He sniffs, tears in his eyes. "You need to sleep Satan... we can figure it out soon.." MC kissed his forehead. He hugged them tight, before sighing.

"Alright..." He got up, pulled out his whiteboard and started to try and connect the clues. "Want me... why? Possible nemesis, Solomon, random etsy witch, Teressa the Galaxy Destroyer. Possible pact wanters, Solomon, random etsy witch, Bob." "Who's Bob?" MC asked. "Oh he is this finance guy." That didn't answer their question.

"You're right, I should sleep." He got into the bed, beside where MC sat and they laid down. "Do you think, it could be a love confession?" They asked, hoping he doesn't feel their fastened heartbeat. "Who would do that?" "Yeah... true..."

Morning rolls over and MC's carefully placed note was on his desk, "Meet me at central park at 5 pm in your finest suit." Satan read that and sighed. "Hope they didn't steal that." He looked at MC's sleeping form, so beautiful. He bent over and caressed their cheek, smiling. "I will promise to come unharmed."

He checked his closet and all of his underwear was stolen, except the nefarious green one. He had a few set of clothes to wear and his suit was unharmed. "Perverted.." He one of each clothing and the only underwear and went to shower.

MC was woken up by the time he came from shower. "This note." They stood over his desk and looked scared. "It won't be.. bad, I promise..." "And how do you know that?" "Because, I figured it out." He answered, avoiding eye-contact. "Okay, smarty pants." MC smirked and he smiled. "Sure."

They went for breakfast, and all of the brothers complained to Lucifer about how Satan interrogated them. "And like, he shut the door in my face! I know I am such a yucky otaku but... he didn't HAVE to do that!" Levi mumbled. "I'm sorry Levi. I didn't do it because you are, in your words, a yucky otaku, but because we had the rest of them to interrogate. I promise I will listen to you after I figure out who did this and why." Satan apologized.

"And to everyone, I am sorry for being rude and dismissive, I was in a shock and based my actions on impulse. And for that, I whole heartedly apologize and promise to make it up to you." Everyone smiled, "You don't have to Satan, we understand." Lucifer pat his head. "Thanks.."

"I am SO sorry Satan but I have to go, I promised Luke!" MC said, Satan wanted to pout but he didn't, instead he acted nonchalant, "Sure, I don't mind. I will deal with the evil entity that stole my stuff alone!" "You are not being slick."

"I swear, I will be okay.."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

4 PM and MC is at Purgatory Hall, "Thank you so much you guys, I don't know what I'd do without you." "Its okay MC, friends are there for when you need them." Simeon reassured them.

MC had told them about the plan the same day the diary entry was written, Simeon thought it was a little too cruel, Solomon found it amusing, Luke was confused, "but why? just say to his face"

"So how did it go?" Solomon asked, as MC gulped down water before going to get ready. "Oh he almost cried, other than that, great!" They replied, smiling. "Oh.." Simeon questioned his friends' morals.

"But why do you have to get ready in MY room?" "Luke! Hush!"

"Do I look good?" MC stood in their prettiest attire, standing in front of the boys, Simeon and Luke who were trying to hold Solomon from going into the kitchen to make snacks for MC. "Yes! You look fabulous!" Solomon finally left the kitchen to go to MC and hug them.

"Go MC, tell him that you love him."

MC knew Satan would come half an hour early, so they came in 15 minutes before that, sitting at the bench. They kept anxiously checking the time and texting Solomon, who kept reassuring them that everything will be fine. Atleast a thousand times by now.

They fiddled with their hands. "MC?" They looked up, Satan, their Satan looking confused, but oh god so beautiful. "I.. Yeah.." They lost their words. "Why?" Satan asked, they stood up, "I love you Satan, but you seem too oblivious to notice that, so, I did it, just so you can think about it, all those stuff is in my room... You would never suspect me anyway." They smiled. Satan hugged them. "Me? You like, me?" He wasted no time and kissed them.
