I’m not sure how to describe how I have been feeling for the past few days. My heart is heavy, for me it’s not a figure of speech, I can literally feel the weight of my heart. My thoughts are consumed by the disappointment of the amount of hate this world is filled with. No matter how much I remind myself of John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” My heart remains troubled. I’m a VERY happy person, I hate feeling down, I love to laugh and I love being surrounded by people who bring me joy. I’ve prayed and prayed and asked God to take the hurt away. I’ve tried taking breaks from social media, but my heart and mind is still troubled by the evident lack of love that still plagues our society.

Every time I’m pretty sure I hear someone call my name, but no one was really calling my name, I do like Eli told Samuel and say, “Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth.”
