J.K. Rowling will be releasing a Harry Potter story on Oct. 31, focused on the devil incarnate herself Dolores Umbridge, according to a post on Pottermore on Friday.

Rowling also noted:

Umbridge is not only one of the most malicious Pottercharacters, she is the only person other than Lord Voldemort to leave a permanent physical scar on Harry.

Wow... so much ignorance....zero amounts of research...Now I agree that Ubisoft reason for the lack of female lead is dumb.Because:

They already have a game where the female lead is a woman: Assassin's Creed Liberation.

In the other titles in the multiplayer you can control female assassin.

If its about rendering, there are already so many rendered female NPCs in the other titles.

Ubisoft tried to be politically correct but they screwed up. And yet all they got were a few stupid jokes like these. If they said anything like "It didn't fit the story" or "We felt that male characters fit better our game" they would have been torn apart from feminazis.There would be petitions demanding to have a female assassin, butthurts threatening boycots (not that would achieve anything...), Anita Sarkeesian collecting another $500k just to "call on their bullshit", etc. Meanwhile the main audience for the actual franchise continues to be male...
