San Francisco before the road trip #california #roadtrip

Flying back to London after a birthday party in Scotland yesterday. The thought of this coming week is already exhausting; it’s almost Christmas though and the party starts on Friday!

Time for a few days away. Pastéis de nata and lots of coffee this morning.

Anniversary meal yesterday and went for the Total Trust tasting menu @ 111byNico in Glasgow. Very nice it was too.

Had a very enjoyable big night out with last night, but was feeling rough this morning. The wife & I met my Mum for lunch and my hungover hunger steered me to this little lot and a glass of red wine. It sorted me out a treat. Monday tomorrow and only 3 weeks until holiday time.

Got to remember Tuesday is only the new Friday until I have to get up for work in the morning.

Just hit 30 degrees, so probably best to take a break from the garden conversion. A Pilsner Urquell before heading to the parents’ house for a birthday lunch. Knowing my Dad the World Cup will be on too. Lovely stuff.

A few Friday beers after a tough week.

The first Saturday of the World Cup and I’m starting the day in East London with a pale ale and a cowcatcher from ELB for France v Australia and then moving on to the States with a can of Big Wave for the start of Argentina v Iceland.

The World Cup has started and due to work have just watched the first game I could squeeze in. Portugal v Spain was a cracker and back home now for some spicy food and a few choice ales. This is a good one and liking how bleak the back garden seems as the sun has just disappeared- time to crank the music up! Have a good Friday night people.

Treated to lunch today. Decided on crab tart, roast beef and rhubarb and pistachio crumble. Stuffed now and back home having a beer/glass of wine in the sun. No work tomorrow either, so it’s a pretty good Sunday all round.
